@Bold : Probably ? Aree ye pakka hoga ! And you and me are going to bahao aansu and bas jalte rahenge 😭 😭 😆 Baldev is going to the perfect bf ! And this is why I am so jelly of Veera!

I was indeed disappointed when Baldev forgave Veera so easily. But that how Baldev Singh is. He has always been shown as a person who doesn't keep grudges to himself. Otherwise he would never had fallen in love with Veera who he thinks is responsible for his life's biggest defeat. 😳
And it's not that Baldev quitely gulped down Veera's selfishness. He did point it out, but didn't create a huge issue out of it, which IMO is a sign of maturity.

Adding some more:

Baldev is by far the only character in this show who has various shades. He was this insensitive obnoxious boy who has now started to care towards his beloved ones. He has learned to control his temperament now, which IMO isn't character assassination but character progression.

I love what you have written in the last para, but I agree only to half of it!!! Yes indeed he is a layered character with multiple shades. He has indeed come a long way from being an obnoxious boy to a caring man!!! But has his anger issues really gone, the way he grabbed his best friend Jaggi's collar in that village square when he spoke ill of Veera's character clearly shows that the angry Baldev is still lurking beneath his skin. So even if you love a person from the core of your being, is it really necessary to put a total hold on ones emotions?

I do not mean to tell he should not have forgiven her or he should have resorted to illogical manhandling, smashing of vases or grabbing Veera roughly by her arm which are shown as typical OTT angry scenes. But they could have shown a mixture of pain and anger in his tone and demeanour, that would have looked more realistic for me and it would have given Veera a deeper sense of her negligence. Here it almost looked like it was a cakewalk for Veera. She finished all her AOB and was there to pacify him.

Ermm I watched the scene again so that I can reply to this better😆 I think Baldev was indeed angry and disappointed at Veera for not being able to show up. Just because he didn't show his anger at her doesn't mean he has put hold on his emotions. "Tainu ki fark painda hai ke mai 2 ghante se baarish me tera intezar karta raha"-- this shows how hurt Baldev was because she ditched the meeting without prior notice. But somewhere, he knows that Veera must have been stuck somewhere. When he said "Ik phone hi kar deti", it was very clear that he wasn't angry because she didn't show up, but disppointed because she didn't let him now that she was unable to come. More than angry, I feel Baldev was upset at Veera hence he refused to meet her initially but gave in as soon as Veera genuinely apologized to him. To me, Veera's apology looked genuine.😳
Actually, most people here are disappointed because we didn't want everything to be a cakewalk for Veera, considering how much Baldev went through thanks to her😆 But if you think carefully, it wasn't that much of a big deal that should lead to a huge MU between them. It was a tiny issue, and I'm glad Baldev and Veera sorted it out like matured adults.😳

Monumolu --- accepting someone's help for herself and her family again and again and again ... and being terribly insensitive to that same person - isn't that selfishness .. According to me it is

I would not call Veera who is in love with Baldev as selfish!! Selfishness is too harsh a word for me because in selfishness one tends to care only for themselves and their needs, to the extend of excluding others interests!!! Here Veera has not excluded Baldev totally but she has taken him for granted in other words she has underestimated his value in comparison with her Veerji. I am not of the opinion that being insensitive or undermining the value of a person who loves you unconditionally is right, but still I would not dare to compare her to Gunjan!!!

When did Veera behave differently ? I dont remember any instance when she genuinely cared for Baldev , if u remember pls enlighten me as well 😃 In my memory she cared only for 3 people in life ... ( her veerji , chaiji and beeji)
She never respected Baldev previously and was always was into name calling like bandar, idiot and what all ...

Now she is in love - still she thinks of herself only , it is always mein mein mein for Veera ...

I havent forgotten the way Veera left Baldev in market and went with Saahil in Poland track -- that particular instance Saahil was more useful .. so she took his help .. Palat ke ek bar Baldev ki taraf dekha bhi nahin ...

Spot on this was what I felt too, that she never felt she was at fault. She apologized but she never admitted anything to be her fault. I know that might not have been the intention of creatives but summing up all her dialogues that's how the scene turned out to be. Her typical dialogues from day before yesterday only added fuel to my doubt, "Bekawoof!!! Maine usko baarish mein khade rehane ke liye nahi bola tha!!!" Then her other line, "Kahin na kahi meri galti hai!!!"

Kahin na kahi meri galti line was plain lame for me. That is not the best of the ways to show the guilt trip of a person!!! Baldev is egoistic but when it comes to apologizing, I think that scene after the KV grants rejected those dialogues were genuinely straight from the heart kinda stuff!!! He also defended him there by telling "Mainu pata nahi tha woh log itne jaldi aanewaale the", but then he reassured her that he will always be right, "Aage jaake mein hamesha koshish karoonga ki tera kaam banaoo bigadoo nahi..."

Veera is quite equivocal when she points out Baldev's mistakes, the only time I felt she was soft on him was the box pulling, because she had started feeling a pull towards him probably!!! She was not that candid in her response. But dear in this show what so ever Veera does is justified, as she is the superwoman, educated, modern kudi!!! I would really love to see how the creatives treat a mistake done by Baldev and Veera is on the receiving end. I am sure tables will surely turn then!!! This show does not treat characters as characters!!!

Poland scene I am zipped. I guess I have written enough and more of it in multiple posts that I never approved of her behavior of ostracizing Baldev. Then that is a old story!!! I am telling in this particular scene at this instance I did not feel she was selfish and I would not dare to compare her with Gunjan at all!!!

I said Veera as a whole is coming out as a selfish person to me , not just this instance ...

Regarding Gunjan -- she didnt think , okay i will marry Ranvi - that will save me , my family , my papaji 's ijjat ... - if she was thinking like that then she would have been a selfish person ...
But whatever she did was , illogical and psychogiri ...and not due to her selfishness ...
