I was indeed disappointed when Baldev forgave Veera so easily. But that how Baldev Singh is. He has always been shown as a person who doesn't keep grudges to himself. Otherwise he would never had fallen in love with Veera who he thinks is responsible for his life's biggest defeat. 😳
And it's not that Baldev quitely gulped down Veera's selfishness. He did point it out, but didn't create a huge issue out of it, which IMO is a sign of maturity.

Adding some more:

Baldev is by far the only character in this show who has various shades. He was this insensitive obnoxious boy who has now started to care towards his beloved ones. He has learned to control his temperament now, which IMO isn't character assassination but character progression.

I neither felt Veera guilty nor genuine ... Baldev ko tho yeh utterly selfish ladki hi mili pyaar karne keliye ...😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

Gunjan even in her psychotic phase was not this selfish

The thing which irked me most was the attitude/tone in her voice ... and the way she was going on justifying herself .. Not even once she told what she did is wrong - and her apologies were shallow to me ...

I don't want to convert this thread into Veera v/s gunjan but still I will say that Veera has yet not achieved the heights of selfishness that Gunjan had. Veera genuinely cares for Baldev but she is still in her initial stage of love. Gunjan during her psychotic phase deliberately hurt Ranvi yet he simply forgave her. Here, Veera didn't want to hurt Baldev. It was purely unintentional on her part.

😆 she deliberately hurt him because she believed sincerely that Ranvi tricked her into marriage and that was her way of revenge ... I am not saying what she did is right ...

but she didnt use Ranvi for her benefits alone , like how Veera has used Baldev time and again

Like how Baldev said , she remembers Baldev when she has some kaam to be done by him ...
And if he is hurt due to her , she will finish all her jobs and then if time is there then go meet him and apologise superficially and then go back to her character again . She is shamelessly using Baldev's good nature

She sincerely believed that Ranvi is responsible for breaking her engagement so she lead him on & insulted his whole family in front of the entire village? She even went to the extent of revealing the half sister truth to hurt his sister, she din mind the fact that Ranvi is being blamed for the casting couch fiasco when it was wholly her fault..And she even tried to elope multiple times post marriage & steal from her own house..Of course this is not selfish..Its vile & disgusting 😆

Now that we have compared the two, i really wanna know what has Veera done to be termed more selfish than Gunjan 😆 Did Veera ask Baldev to run behind her in his marriage obsession phase? I thought she told him multiple times to back off 😕 And she used Baldev in the 'fake love track' to annoy him so he gets frustrated and dumps her..Yeah, that was insensitive as eff but how does that make her selfish? And even after all the drama, it was Baldev who volunteered to accompany her to Poland..It shows how selfless Baldev is when it comes to Veera but how does it prove that Veera is selfish? That too more than Gunjan? 😆 Yeah she does take him for granted and am glad Baldev vented out his frustration in yesterday's episode but am not sure why Veera is called this utterly selfish girl..Insensitive yes but not selfish..Definitely not more than Gunjan 😆

IKR..So much fun 😆 I have always felt Veera is insensitive when it comes to everyone apart from her Veerji but selfish she is not..When has Veera 'used' Baldev ? Yeah she was prejudiced and refused to see the goodness in him thanks to their history, was insensitive when she played with his feelings but i have never really felt she uses Baldev tbh..Its always Baldev who volunteers to help Veera..That shows how unconditional & selfless his love is but i have never seen any instance where Veera deliberately takes advantage of the soft corner he has for her..Apart from the 'fake love track' of course where Veera was so focused on her object of making Baldev dump her that she just refused to see how much she was hurting him in the process..

I never said what all Gunjan did is right ... what all she has done is downright disgusting .

Veera becomes selfish - because she enjoys all selfless help which Baldev is offering to her and never ever returns anything .
Any non-selfish person will think of returning something to the person who has helped so much
