I loved how you called him a "Pug in a Rug"!! Lol.

Yes he looked like a lovesick puppy. But so did Veera? He was just "mirroring"!! :). Isn't that what we do when we are attracted to someone?? Everyone please understand... BALDEV IS IN LOVE! That is the answer too ALL of the above!! Nothing more. Nothing less!!

We are ALL fools in love. (As the great Jane Austen said). So why do we expect Baldev Singh to be an exception?? He is human. The girl he is crazy for, looked genuinely sorry! She was holding her ears. She was apologising etc etc! What do you want from the guy?? This was very realistic!!

To be honest... Even though he was mad and told her off, she had him at "Hi"! Her "Hi" reminded me of ASR's "Hi" to Khushi, when she comes to his house after their "Teri Meri" dance! What a SEXY "Hi" that was?? Veera's "HI", had an echo of that!! You could very well tell the difference in her tone! That HI was said in a way you say it to someone special! He made a face at that, but you could tell the guy was slipping! :) Heck even I was feeling like that Hi was fully sexy and come hither! (I am a women)! Lol. What do you expect from red blooded male Baldev?? :)

Hey Guys I'm enjoying reading this thread. Such long discussions on Veeba nd specially on Baldev. M a silent member in this forum but being a Veeba fan I cud not help myself. So m sorry if m butting in ur discussion.

I think d reason why Baldev was so angry with Veera is bcoz he thought (like all of us that ) she had taken him for granted nd playing with him especially he believed that Veera was not making efforts to apologize to him nd may be she was not sorry at all for not turning up to meet him. She didn't ditch him on purpose, but yes she simply forgot to call him. She was insensitive earlier but not anymore.

He readily forgave her when she explained herself nd apologized. He wanted to do some nakhra nd show his disappointment with her. But then she genuinely showed concern and apologized. She was close to tears I guess when Baldev said he said that may be she's making him dance to her tunes in d name of friendship. U know guys give in when girls sound tearful. It's easy.

I too miss d old aggressive, hot-headed Baldev who doesn't bow down easily in front of anyone. And it is still there. It is just that he had been fighting his feelings for Veera for d past few days that had softened him up. May be that's what love does to ppl.

In d past if Veera had only faked her love for him nd he had in turn done his bit as a revenge for her deceit nd for defeat in d panchayat electiopns. nd both had settled their scores. But their friendship had always been intact. So I believe we stop bringing the past issues in d present.

Lovely post MDF. You are one of those in the forum who at least to me seem to be unbiased. I mean no offense to any one but at times people becomes very stubborn about their views. You tend to take a neutral view as possible, that's why I am a fan of your posts and I have lots of respect for you as well. Just wanted to discuss with you which do you feel was more important from Baldevs POV conveying a loud and clear message to Veera that she can't take Baldev for granted our be egoistic and stubborn towrads her. Please share your honest opinion.

Thanks Feck for your lovely compliments. Please call me Mandy! :). I truly believe that him conveying the message that he was unhappy with Veera taking him for granted, was the RIGHT thing! I was very impressed that he honestly laid out the cards for her. He told her in no uncertain terms that he was unhappy about being made to wait without an explanation. He was unhappy that she didn't make him a priority. I was VERY happy with all that.

Then came her sincere apology and her explanation. Yes he was angry, but he could tell she really was sorry. She was on the verge of tears. The Veera he is used to, usually just says something cutting and will just run her tongue if anyone told her off! UNLESS she thinks she is actually wrong! Here she did, and Baldev could see she was genuinely contrite! She couldn't stop apologising and he could tell she was desperate for his "Maafi"! So he gave it to her!

I think how he behaved was 100% realistic and a damned site more mature than just holding a grudge and acting pricey just to spite Veera! I would have been more disappointed had he done that!

What happened to the headstrong, bullheaded Baldev? If nothing they could have made Baldev speak with a sandpapered voice, but here they made him look like a love sick puppy who whined dolefully to Veera!!! Then as he forgave her with a smile Baldev seemed to me, as happy as a pug in a rug!!!!😡

I agree love makes all of us warm over. I can understand Baldev being shy and slightly sheepish around Veera. Do you really undergo such a fast metamorphosis in love?? Do you really transform from a headstrong, slightly obnoxious, sarcastic, temperamental being to a mushy, lovey-dovey, extravagantly emotional individual? All I wanted to see was a mixture of pain and anger!!! Anger is not an alien emotion when you are in love, but the creatives seems to be stuck with pain and illogical jealousy when it comes to the matter of the heart!!! I could have digested Baldev succumbing to the repeated apologies of Veera had they invested some time and energy for this to shape up onscreen.

I have accepted the fact that Baldev is never gonna get a full fledged character development!!! Baldev will play a second fiddle in the show and in Veera's life!!! But at least they should not commit further character assassination and reduce him to a ghost of the real "Baldev Singh" we all fell for!!!

NB: The only line which gave me a sigh of relief was when Baldev announced, "Mujhe aise dosti nahi chaahiye Veera joh sirf kaam ke waqt tenu yaad aaye". Heartfelt gratitude for at least a small bit of conviction from his side.

What's new about it?😆 and thanks for this thread(like before naya kya hain?😃) Talking about new things,I have loved all the discussions over here as usual(before)...And why am I enjoying and laughing and loving "You know that very well"

Intentional or unintentional I felt the whole apology thing could have been bit more straight from her heart and genuine!!! Her words somehow implied she was doing a favorable deed by requesting an apology - "Tumhe pata hai tere ghar ke kitne chakkar kaate maine?" I would rather prefer someone to tell, "Main tere ghar ke hazaar chakkar kaatne ke liye tayaar hoon jab tak tu mainu maaf nahi karega!!!" I know there is only a wafer-thin line between words, but the little nuances like these tend to speak volumes about the bond two souls share!!!

The problem with Veera is that she goes overboard with everything..There is no moderation..And she just refuses to see the consequences of her action 😆 Its fine to fake your love to make sure the guy dumps you but it can come back to bite you in your ass if you fall for the same guy in real 😆 She is lucky Baldev trusts her cos in reality, when something like this happens, you tend to look at every action of that person with suspicion once the truth comes out..Its really really tough to place your unwavering trust on the same person once something like this happens..Veera is really lucky that Baldev doesn't mind & readily believes that she is in love 😆

That said, Gunjan belongs to a different league..Veera hasn't done anything half as nasty as Gunjan till date 😆
