Part 3

In Delhi

As Kalpana reached Delhi, manager Rajesh took her to the owner's house where Kalpana had to work. He told her to prepare at least two painting for the owner in three days. If the owner likes the painting she could continue painting for this house. Kalpana was very excited. This was her first job in her life. She worked very hard so that she could make the boss happy.

Three days later

"Manager, what kind of painting is this? You know I visit here once in a month to relax. How I will be able to stay here with this type of nonsense paintings? Kalpana was in the room she was given to stay. Hearing someone shouting she came to the living room. She heard the person, who was standing in front of the paintings Kalpana painted facing his back, "Do you call this paining? I don't find anything natural in it. Tell me who did this? as the person turned back, his eyes fell on Kalpana who was standing little far from him. "You? hearing Ragahv Kalpana raised her head to look at him. She was also confused seeing Raghav there. Seeing Kalpana at his place in front of him he dropped his anger. Ragahv looked back at Rajesh and said, "Is she...? the manager lowered his head. "Don't tell me that you appointed this kid for this important work, hearing Ragahv the manger nodded his head and then said, "Yes sir, she is the one. Kalpana couldn't control her tears. She went back to her room. After Kalpana left from there Rajesh said, "Sir, I didn't know what kind of paintings you were expecting or I would give her some brief. She is such a nice girl. I saw her working very hard. Few minutes later she came back to the living room with her luggage and an envelope in her hand. Placing the envelope on the center table Kalpana said, "Manager Uncle, here is your advance. I am leaving. Manager Rajesh was near 60 that's why Kalpana would call him uncle. Kalpana turned to leave but stopped hearing Ragahv, "Ms. Kapoor, don't you at least have some sense to ask the boss for permission to leave? she turned back to face Ragahv. Pointing to Rajesh Raghav said, "He is not your boss. Kalpana looked at Raghav and said, "I am quitting the job. "You cannot, hearing Raghav both Kalpana and Rajesh were confused.

Rag: I already spoiled my one day because of you. I don't like doing same thing again and again in my life

Rajesh: Sir, if she wants to go let her go

Rag: Manager, so far I can remember you were praising about her work earlier. What happened now?

Rajesh: sir, please don't mind. If you scold her like this she will get nervous. If she gets nervous how she would be able to concentrate on her work.

Kalpana was just listening to their conversation without uttering a word.

Rag: Manager, instead of lecturing me don't you think you should tell Ms. Kapoor how to become a successful person in life facing all these? Instead of quitting the job she could have challenged herself?

Raghav looked back at Kalpana and said, "Hope you understand what I want. Now you get back to work. then Raghav went to his room upstair.

At 5 PM

While having coffee Raghav said, "Manager, I don't see Ms. Kapoor around. Where is she?

Rajesh: sir, she went out to capture some view into her painting. I saw her to do some research about mountain in Delhi. She might go there.

Rag: Is this her first time in Delhi?

Rajesh: yes sir

Rag: then she shouldn't have chosen that type of place. That place is not safe for her.

Rajesh: should I call her to come back?

Rag: yes

Then Ragahv went to his room to do some office work.

At 6 PM

"Sir, I been trying to contact Ms. Kapoor since one hour but she is not picking up the call. Hope she is fine, hearing Rajesh Ragahv looked at him. Ragahv could notice him worried.

Rajesh: sir, I am going out to search for her.

Rag: hm

Since Rajesh left Ragahv could not concentrate on his work. All his attention was on his phone. Half an hour later Raghav took his phone in his hand. He was about to dial Rajeshe's number, in the meantime his phone rang with Rajeshe's number.

Rag: yes, Manager

Rajesh: sir, I am still searching for her. It is getting darker. I am very worried for her.

Rag: did you try her number?

Rajesh: yes sir.

Rag: text me her number

Then Ragahv came out of the house.

While driving, Ragahv dialed Kalpana's number. After attempting five times when he couldn't reach her, he got angry. "damm... why don't you pick up the phone? he mumbled to himself angrily. He parked his car near a hill and came out of the car. That area was very quiet. People left earlier before it got dark as there was a jungle next to the hill. Putting his hands on his waist Raghav looked around. Somehow he was also worried for Kalpana. Few seconds later as he turned back to walk to his car he noticed something few feet away in the nearest jungle.

Feeling someone's hand on her shoulder Kalpana looked back. "You? Here? Kalpana asked. Totally ignoring her question Ragahv asked, "What are you doing here? "I am painting, Kalpana replied. Hearing her Ragahv gave her an unbelievable look. He took the painting in his hand and held Kalpana's hand with his other hand. Before she could react or say something Raghav dragged her to the road where he parked his car. "Leave my hand. I want to stay here, Kalpana said while trying to release her hand from his tight grip. He didn't say anything. He kept dragging her to the car. Once they reached Raghav released her hand. He looked at her. Kalpana could see rage into his eyes.

Rag: Get into the car

Kal: I won't. I will stay here.

Somehow he managed to control his anger. He opened the car door and was waiting for Kalpana to get into the car. Kalpana looked around. Realizing it got dark, she got into the car. On the way in the car they didn't have any conversations.

Raghav's house in Delhi

Seeing Ragahv entering into the house taking Kalpana along with him, Rajesh asked worried, "Kalpana where were you? Do you know how much we were worried? Raghav looked at Kalpana and then looked back at Rajesh. "In the jungle, Ragahv replied.

Rajesh: what were you doing in the jungle?

Kal: painting

Rajesh: painting in the jungle?

Kal: I wanted to capture a beautiful view of the sunset from there into my painting

Rajesh: beta jungle is not safe place. Besides that you are new here in this city.

Raghav was standing facing his back. Without looking at Kalpana he said, "Manager, tell Ms. Kapoor to use brain if she has some. After a little pause he added, "What a combination? Beauty without brain.

Kal: I am not saying anything it doesn't mean that you will keep insulting me.

Raghav looked back to face Kalpana.

Rag: I don't think I said something wrong? If you would have spent some time to use your brain, people like us wouldn't have dared to take any advantage.

Kalpana knew very well what he was talking about. Raghav continued, "Instead you kept yourself busy with Partying, gambling, drinking etc...etc... And this carefree life already led you to stay in jail. As his eyes fell on her bag he took it in his hand and opened it. Taking her phone he showed her missed calls.

Rag: 20 missed calls. If you don't answer your call in any emergency why do you keep it with you?

After a little pause he said,

Rag: oh how can I forget a brainless girl like you keep phone only to receive those useless friend's calls. Actually, it doesn't matter if your friends are useless or not. They have their parents to be with them always. How about you?

Kal: I am not alone. I have my uncle and Aunty

Rag: where were they when you got arrested?

Kal: they were out of the city that's why...

Ragahv stopped her saying, "that's why you didn't call them. That's what you wanted to say right? Let me tell you. If they would be your parents you wouldn't even hesitate to call them. And they would come to save you wherever they would be in the world. after a little pause he said, "I know you will not agree with it but somehow this is true. Anyway who am I to tell you all this.

Kal: everyone is scolding me when it is not my fault.

Raghav was going to his room using stair. He heard her saying, "your boss is looking for something natural. He wants perfection in my work.

Rajesh: beta, lower your voice or sir will hear you.

Kal: let him hear. Do you think I scare of him?

At 9 PM

Kalpana was in her room. Hearing the sound of the doorbell Kalpana went to open the door. As she opened the door, she saw a beautiful young woman standing at the door.

Kal: yes, how can I help you?

The woman: hi, I came here for service.

Kalpana looked at her from top to bottom. She noticed her wearing a knee length body revealing one piece dress. What kind of service she is going to do, Kalpana said in her mind, seeing her outfit she doesn't look like she came here for household work.

Kal: I think you came to the wrong address.

The woman: I think so. Sorry to trouble you at this time.

Kal: no problem.

As the woman walked to the car Kalpana closed the door. Then she went to the dining area to drink water. While pouring water into a glass something clicked into her mind. "The service she was talking about ... Kalpana stopped. After a little pause, "Oh no, mumbling to herself she ran to the door. She came outside but the woman already left.

"Kalpana, why are you worrying about it? Kalpana mumbled to herself and continued, "Did you forget he insulted you in this afternoon? Let him pay for it now. "You are right. He insulted me. He thinks I am a stupid girl. I don't have a brain. I am not perfect. After a little pause she said, "What about him? He neither is a perfect human being nor is he a perfect husband. He cheats his wife.

"Sir, hearing Rajesh, Kalpana looked back. As she turned her eyes fell on Raghav who was standing little far from her. Did he hear me talking to myself? Kalpana thought worried.

Rajesh: Sir, I called the agency. They said she was here but someone from here told her to leave. Now she got another client.

After thinking something Rajesh said, "I don't understand who let her go? Raghav's eyes were still on Kalpana. Why is he looking at me like this? Kalpana said in her mind. "Don't worry, Manager, Ragahv said and added, "The person who did this, he or she has to pay for it. Now Kalpana became worried, what did he mean by that? Without wasting a second she went to her room.

After freshening up Kalpana changed her clothes and wore a pajama and tea-shirt. Before she went to the bed she came to the door to close it. She was about to close the door but Ragahv stopped her holding the door. Seeing Raghav Kalpana came few steps back. "Whawhat are you doing here? she said while stepping back. "This is my house. Do I need any permission to stay here? as he walked forward Kalpana came few steps back. She kept walking back until her back hit the wall. She looked back and then looked at Ragahv who was standing crossing his arms in front of her. "Look, Kalpana said and continued, "I didn't do it on purpose. When I realized she came here for you it was already too late. I swear I went out but she already left. But she was not that beautiful. It is good that she left. I know your taste. When she realized what she said, "I meant to say I did some research. She started sweating. "I meant to say everyone know about a person like you. I meant to say your likes ...and ... dislikes.

As he came close to Kalpana, she closed her eyes. He looked at her closed eyes for few seconds and then looked at the charger laying on the table beside her. Taking it in his hand he looked back at Kalpana who was still standing with her eyes closed. He smiled. Few seconds later Kalpana opened her eyes slowly, Ragahv already left from there. She was relieved. "I thought he is going to replace me into that girl's place for tonight as a punishment. she said and added, "Thanks God! You saved me from sleeping with this rude and arrogant person again. After thinking something she said, "I don't understand how does he maintain of his properties, business, family along with his hot temper. Whoever is around him must face a lot.

The next morning

While having breakfast Raghav noticed Kalpana going out taking her painting stuff along with her. Rajesh was there talking to Ragahv about his meetings. Seeing Kalpana he asked, "Kalpana are you going out?

Kal: ha

Rajesh: don't go too far and keep your phone with you

Kal: ok

Rag: Manager, I want you to go with her.

Rajesh: Sir, I have to take my wife to see doctor today. She is not feeling well. Sorry, I was about to tell you...

Rag: it's ok. But who else I can send her with?

Rajesh: sir, I have an idea. After the morning meeting you are planning for private boat ride right?

Rag: hm

Rajesh: take Kalpana with you. I am sure she will get best view for her painting there.

Before Ragahv could say anything, Kalpana said, "No. both Ragahv and Rajesh looked at her.

Kal: I meant to say, I can manage myself.

Looking at Kalpana Raghav said, "That I already saw. I cant trust you with anything.

Kal: but I don't want to go with anyone. I need my privacy

Rag: you won't get any privacy. You came here for me...

Noticing Kalpana looking at him, "I meant to say you came here for my work, he corrected, "So do what I said. You are coming with me.

Once Ragahv and Kalpana reached the place Raghav came for the meeting, Raghav told her to come with him but Kalpana refused to go with him.

Kal: I am fine here in the car. You go and finish your meeting.

Rag: what did I say in this morning that I cant trust you with anything? As long as you are here in Delhi you are my responsibilities. Once you reach Mumbai do whatever you would like to do. No one will stop you.

Kalpana didn't have any other option besides going with him. Ragahv could feel that her mood was off. "Hitler, Kalpana mumbled to herself, "I wish I would not agree for this job. Who knows all my happiness and freedom will be snatched away coming here. Unknown to her Raghav heard her.

Kalpana was wearing shorts and sleeveless tea-shirt. While going to the office people around were looking at Kalpana lustfully and it was not unnoticed by Ragahv. Instead of making her wait in the waiting area he took her with him in the conference room.

While Raghav was busy in the meeting with his clients Kalpana was texting messages to her friends in Mumbai sitting on a couch at the corner of the room. 15 minutes later Kalpana got bored. Hitler didn't tell me how long I have to wait here, Kalpana said in her mind annoyed.

It took 45 minutes to finish the meeting. Taking Kalpana along with him Ragahv was ready to come out of the office in the meantime Maya stopped him calling him by his name, "Hey Raghav, both turned back to face her. Maya was not only Ragahv's client but his college friend too.

Maya: why are you rushing? Lets stay here na for a while so that we could discuss about our new projects.

Rag: I am sorry Maya. As you already know that I am leaving tomorrow. I have only few hours left and I don't want to keep myself busy in office work. I need some time to relax.

After thinking something he added, "Why don't you join me in Boat ride so that we can discuss about projects. At the same time I can relax. If you are free.

Maya: Of course. I can join you. By the way who else is going along with you?

Rag: You, me and my employee.

Maya: what will your employee do over there? I meant to say you are going there to relax right?

Kalpana was just listening to their conversation without uttering a word. Hearing Maya Kalpana smiled as something clicked into her mind.

Kal: She is right. What I will do in between you. You guys go and enjoy na

Then she looked at Ragahv who was already looking at her. The way he was looking at her seemed like he was not ready to leave her alone.

Seeing a beautiful view of the nature in the middle of the ocean, Kalpana told the person who was driving the boat to stop. Kalpana kept herself busy in painting while Raghav and MAya were discussing about projects. One hour later Ragahv came up and laid down at the edge of the boat facing the sun. Few minutes later Maya joined Ragahv. Though Kalpana was painting to the opposite side but Ragahv and Maya's talking, laughing was distracting her work. She walked toward them. She cleared her voice to get attention. Ragahv looked back. Seeing Kalpana standing behind them Ragahv asked, "What do you want?

Kal: I cannot concentrate to my work. Could you lower your voice little bit?

Rag: Sorry, I didn't realize

After Kalpana left, Maya asked surprised, "Oh my god Raghav! You are talking with so much patient? Ragahv smiled.

Rag: Maya, I am not that bad as you are thinking

Maya: but your temperature is not as good as you are. So far I know you never talked to any employee with so much patient. Now tell me what is the matter?

Rag: She is not my employee. Actually she came here to do some painting for my Delhi house. After that she will leave

All of a sudden something got into Maya's eye. Noticing her rubbing her eye, Ragahv asked, "What happened?

Maya: I think dirt

Rag: let me help you taking it out.

On the other hand while painting Kalpana's face was covered with her hair due to the wind. As she moved her hair from her face her eyes fell on Ragahv doing something leaning on Maya. Is he going to kiss Maya ji? This thought made her mouth wide along with her eyes. As she came few steps back she fell into the water. Hearing the loud sound both Ragahv and Maya looked back where Kalpana was doing her painting. Few seconds later the person who was driving the boat ran toward them and said, "Sir, the water is not good for health. I don't know what is madam doing in the water? "Madam? Raghav asked confused. "Sir, I am talking about the painter madam, hearing him Ragahv and Maya got off and ran to the opposite side.

Rag: Ms. Kapoor, what are you doing in the water?

Kal: what people do in the water, swimming right?

Kalpana lied.

Rag: this water is not good for health. Come up or you will get sick.

When Kalpana didn't say anything Ragahv said, "Look, you better come up or I will get you here forcefully. He waited few more seconds for her to come up. "This girl is very stubborn, saying so he jumped into the water. Though Kalpana didn't want to come up with Ragahv but Ragahv forcefully lifted her into his arm and brought her up. "Leave me, Kalpana kept saying into his arms. Once they came up Ragahv dropped her on the floor. "Ouch, Kalpana said with pain and added, "How rude you are. Looking at Kalpana Ragahv said, "You told me to leave you, so I did. Then he raised his hand toward Kalpana to help her to get up. She denied taking his help saying, "I can manage. Maya was just observing duo without uttering a word. Once her eyes fell on Kalpana's wet dress Maya asked, "Change your dress or you will get sick.

Kal: I didn't bring any extra clothes.

Hearing her Ragahv left from there. Few seconds later he came back taking one of his shirts in his hand.

Rag: wear it.

Kal: no I am fine

Rag: wear it or I know how to make you wear

Before Kalpana could say anything Ragahv grabbed her hand and forcefully took her to the washroom. "I said I am not going to wear it, "sshhh... Ragahv shushed her placing his finger on her lips. Looking into her eyes he said, "Why you are so stubborn? both of them were looking into each other's eyes. When Kalpana was lost into those dark brown eyes, Raghav's hand automatically went to her shirt and started unbuttoning her shirt. She didn't realize when Ragahv changed her dress till, "I am done, Ragahv said huskily. He came few steps back. Kalpana was just watching him walking to the door without uttering a word. Remembering something he stopped at the door and turned back. "If you don't want people see your bare legs then wear something from my closet, saying so he left from there.

At night

Ragahv is leaving for Mumbai next day morning. Kalpana wanted to finish her incomplete work so that she could show him her complete work before he leaves, with this thought Kalpana got off from the bed and came to the living room.

3 hours later

Ragahv's sleep got distracted when his phone rang with a wrong number. He cut the call and came out to drink water. After drinking water he was about to go to his room but stopped seeing the light in the living room. "Why the light is on? mumbling to himself he walked to the living room. As he entered into the living room his eyes fell on the painting Kalpana was painting. "Beautiful, the only word came out from his mouth along with a smile. Few seconds later his smile disappeared seeing Kalpana laying on the floor unconscious.

Ragahv dialed Maya's number. It was 3 AM. Seeing Ragahv's call at that time Maya was confused.

Maya: is everything all right Ragahv?

Rag: no, nothing is alright.

She could sense how much he was worried from the other side of the phone

Maya: tell me what happened?

Rag: Kalpana became unconscious. I just called a doctor. He is on the way. I want you to come here.

Maya: yah, I am coming

"She has high fever, the doctor said and added, "I gave her an injection. Hope she feels better when she wakes up. Maya walked along with the doctor to the door leaving Ragahv along with Kalpana.

Doc: I will come to see her tomorrow again.

Maya: sure doctor

After he left Maya came back to Kalpana's room. Ragahv was so lost into Kalpana's thought that he didn't realize Maya's presence. Feeling someone's hand on his shoulder he looked back. "Ragahv, don't worry. She will be fine, hearing her he nodded his head.

4 AM

"Maya thank you so much for coming, hearing Ragahv Maya smiled as she recalled something.

Maya: Raghav this is not the first time I helped you but this is the first time you thanked me.

She looked at Kalpana who was sleeping and then looked back at Ragahv. Before she could ask anything Ragahv offered her coffee, "Coffee.

Maya: sure

Then Ragahv went to the kitchen. Few minutes later he came back with two cups of coffee. After having coffee Ragahv said, "Maya you can go home. You have to go to office tomorrow.

Maya: you also take some rest as you have to fly to Mumbai tomorrow.

He nodded his head. Before she left she told Ragahv that she will come to see Kalpana tomorrow.

The next day afternoon

Maya came to see Kalpana. Rajesh opened the door for her.

Maya: where is Kalpana?

Rajesh: she is in her room

Then she directly went to Kalpana's room. Seeing Maya, Kalpana was about to get up but Maya stopped her saying, "its ok, you can lie down. Then she sat beside Kalpana on the bed.

Maya: how are you feeling now?

Kal: feeling better

Maya: thanks God. You don't know how much we were worried for you. Especially Raghav.

Hearing her Kalpana was surprised. She came to her sense when Maya continued, "He was awake for the whole night. He must be sleeping in the plane.

Kal: he didn't fly

Maya: what?

Kal: he is here

Maya was shocked.

Ragahv was working on his laptop sitting on his bed. Seeing Maya, Ragahv said, "hey Maya. "Raghav, you didn't fly? Maya asked while fixing herself on a couch next to the bed. "No, he replied softly. then he started working again.

Maya: you had few important meetings to attend right?

Rag: I postponed them

Maya: so far I know one of the clients was rushing. Did he agree?

Rag: Manager is trying to convince the client.

Maya: if he doesn't agree?

Rag: I don't care.

Maya: you may lose lot of money

He raised his head to look at Maya.

Rag: but someone's life is more important than money.

Maya: Ragahv, when did you start caring people?

"Kalpana is my responsibilities, Ragahv said while working on his laptop and added, "I cannot leave her alone like this. "Is she your only responsibilities or something else? he looked at Maya

Rag: Maya please don't start again.

In the meantime Rajesh came in with coffee and snacks for them. Placing them on the center table he left from there. Maya was about to say something but Ragahv stopped her saying, "Have coffee and go back to work.

Three hours later

Ragahv went to Kalpana's room to give her medicine. Kalpana was awake.

Rag: how are you feeling now?

Kal: better

When he was pouring water into a glass for Kalpana, Kalpana was just looking at him. I never thought a person who never leaves any option to hurt people would be so caring; she came to her sense hearing Ragahv, "your medicine. Kalpana took the medicine in her hand and had it.

Kal: because of me you couldn't fly. I am sorry

Rag: you should be.

Kalpana didn't take his words in her heart. She knew very well that there was another face hiding behind this face.

Rag: by the way how did you get into the water? I know you didn't go for swimming otherwise you would take extra clothes.

Kal: I didn't go for swimming. I fell into the water

Rag: but how?

Kal: when I was painting all of a sudden my eyes fell on you and Maya ji...

She stopped. She looked at Raghav who was already looking at her and was waiting for her to complete her sentence. "You and Maya ji, she continued, "I meant to say you both were very clo...close to each other and...

Rag: We were kissing each other?

Raghav completed her sentence. Kalpana nodded her head and said, "Then I don't know how I fell into the water.

Rag: it means you were watching us.

Kalpana lowered her head. "Me and Maya, hearing Ragahv Kalpana raised her head to look at him. "Me and Maya and kiss, saying so he started laughing loudly. Kalpana was just watching him amused. Since she met him, she never saw him in that avatar. He looked at Kalpana and said, "Seriously Ms. Kapoor, this is really a good joke.

Rag: anyway, you take rest. We are flying tomorrow

Kal: how could I leave? I didn't even finish my paintings.

Rag: don't worry about it. No one will take your job away from you. When you get chance you can come back and complete your work.

Kal: do you want me to continue your work?

Rag: of course. I saw your painting last night. It was beautiful.

Hearing him a smile appeared on her face. He walked toward the door. Thinking something he turned back to face Kalpana. "By the way, Maya and I didn't share any kiss, saying so he left from there.

The next day Raghav flew to Mumbai taking Kalpana along with him. Kalpana was still weak. Due to the medicine she was feeling dizzy. Throughout the whole journey Kalpana was sleeping placing her head on Raghav's shoulder.

Awesome update. Kalpana is too cute and funny. Loved how Raghav taken care of Kalpana when she is ill.

Wow Raghav is slowly opening up and he starting have feeling by I don't think he knows it yet. It sweet but I'm sure their relationship is forbidden and load of drama will come up. I can't wait so as always great update and keep up the good work
