This feeling is so good. Bappa thanks. Ayi I will work hard and prove my worth myself. Till I get a chance I will work happily here without any negative thoughts. Hurry kalpi, stop self talking and go to the conference room. As if on cue Raghav came on her mind. ' Though he's very rude but I must say its due to him I got the courage to take this step. Thank to Mr.Akdoo too.'
As she entered the conference room she felt a strong aura hitting her. Her senses had got o high alert. Her heart started thumping. She was having a strange feeling hit her senses. She stopped in her tracks. She was scared and taken aback by this reaction of hers.
' God! Why am I this feeling? Its only when I am near that akdoo that I feel such strange things. Its only him who has this effect on me. That means ...that means...ohh damn! He's here. Oh no..bappa save me now. How come he's here? What do I do now? What will he think when he sees me here waitressing? Will he tell aayi? No... I will have to tell him. least is he will taunt me as usual or show his arrogance , but I need to be calm. Kalpi work confidently, why should he effect you? Y do u go crazy just thinking about him? '
She moves forward and begins serving with a smile on her face. At the same time she tries to see Raghav but doesn't see him and her eyes suddenly stops on Prem Kapoor. He's watching her shocked and gaping at her with an open mouth. She just ignores him and moves on to serve other people.
' Y the hell is this Prem staring me? Idiot! How I wish to stuff his big mouth with all chillies in this tray. Now, he just won't leave any chance to insult me. I need to be on guard now that this dog s here , huh! Alas , just have to keep my mouth shut today.'
She keeps on serving dignitaries and then reaches towards a man with his back towards her . Her blood starts singing suddenly..her cheeks warm up. She feels a big current thrashing her senses..he voice is stuck in her throat. She still couldn't see this face as it was facing down. She feared that he was the man she was dreading. She felt strange that somehow even without seeing she was sure he was Raghav and with very difficulty she asked " Excuse me,sir! What may I serve you?"
As expected the man raised his head up and it was the same face she was dreading and avoiding. She was very tensed suddenly though her heart was singing joyfully. It was as if the ime stood still. Both having a deep eyelock. She was battling her heart now which seemed to be jumping with joy on his glimpse and mind giving all warning signals and making her angry seeing the fury on his face.
' what? What have I done now? Y is he staring me like this? I just don't understand this man? At one moment he seems as if he's happy and the next moment he's glaring at me angrilly. Darn this man? He's checking me out? Wait till I get my nails on him? The way he's watching me I feel like he would just kidnap me away somewhere? What a thought? She smiles . Mr.Akdoo u r jealous. Omg, u do like me? I don't believe I am seeing this in ur expressions. So u just carry a facade , haa! Let's have some fun. For once I seem to have an upper hand on him. '
She asks him again what yo serve him when she observes him curling his fists,and very slowly and menacingly he started throwing insults on her. He seemed to be very furious. Experiencing as if someone has thrown a bucket of cold water on her..she glares him equally furiuodly and wants to answer before she hears her name being called.
' Damn this man. Why does he insult me always,? Why does it hurt me so much? Only if I could cry somewhere? No one likes me? How could I even think that the great Raghav could ever like a girl like me. We r just no match. I just wish this day to get over. Its my fault. I am stupid. How could I even like this guy. I hate him. No not just hate , right now I want to hate myself morefor even thinking of liking him. He will get more chance to insult and hurt me. And this prem , hell! But its job... Wait prem just try to insult me and see what I do if I get a chance
While serving prem...she was cursing him all the time but equally aware that a pair of eyes was totally glued on her every move...furiously staring her and prem when she was called by the manager. She was silently standing and engrossed in hearing on all the presentations happening there with alertness. In between she saw a young man near that akdoo was staring at her continuously. He was really handsome with so innocent looks.
" That man really looks cute. Y is he staring at me when I saw him passing a sweet smile at me. I liked him and passed a smile too when again I felt Raghav watching me and this time I felt as if as if he would just kill me..but for what, for just smiling at someone,? God save me. He's not in his right mind today. Plz let this day get over.'
' I was surprised at the questionnaire round. God this prem can't answer even simple ones. How I wish I get a chance? But whose gonna give me chance when I saw Raghav smiling and winking at me. I was stumped. His wink darn! This man...I am angry with him...I shouldn't melt when I saw him signalling something through his eyes...and suddenly everyone was watching me. I was asked a question. I wanted to show Raghav I want dumb. I answered all their questions. In fact even the ones which that dig couldn't answer. God yes, this was feeling so good slapping him in this way. He insulted me and I did thousand times more. He was gaping at me shockingly. I just smirked at him and he frustratingly left the meeting. Hmm..and then again that handsome man looked at me acknowledging me and I just smiled at him. That's when I saw Raghav suddenly was in front of me. I was still hurt by his caustic remarks..how dare he order me. No ways will I budge. But hell what's happened to him dragging me like a mad man. What have I done now. Looking at him its better I keep quiet or he's hell bent on creating a scene. This bloody manager, can't he just stop me or him., but yupp whose gonna mess with this mad man..he's drunk surely'.
Raghav dragged her towards the manager room and shutting the door he just couldn't control anymore. He shouted" what the hell ? Kalpi. How dare u work here? And such skimpy clothes ! Have u gone so desperate? Didn't u see how the men were oogling u there? Don't u have any shame. And what was that smiling at unknown people. What was so interesting huh that u were smiling at Varun ? Not once but twice..and why didn't u slap that prem right there and then. How dare u kalpi? I am calling u and u dare to refuse. No one does that to Raghav Singhania. U r not working here , not at all and just brook an argument and I will see to it if u get any job anywhere."
Kalpi hadn't seen even her dad so much angry and what was with this guy. She was boiling in anger at his threat and warning. How dare he comment on her.
" how dare u Mr.Raghav Singhania.? U have no right to questionme or decide for me. I am my own person not ur personal property. U are behaving like a jilted boyfriend and u r not even my friend. For god sake this is a uniform and not only me all waitresses r wearing the same. There is nothing obscene about it. Why would I want to get anyone's attention.? I am just doing my work. I want this job. And what's wrong in this job. At least I didn't come running and crying to get a job from you.I earned it myself and I don't feel am answerable to you. Just let me go." Kalpi moves towards the door when Raghav pulls her tiwrds the wall and blocks her from both sides.
R-" I just don't care if they r roaming around in a bikini. But u can't and I won't let u wear such clothes . didn't u see how all were looking at u. And that Varun , u know he's such a big playboy. He doesn't no how innocent u r. What if he got a wrong signal. And prem...he was oogling you. Why did u go and serve him. And u like it or not even u know that I do have every right and u have to answer me. U r not doing this job..not a chance u will leave now with me and change this goddn dress."
K-" Raghav r u gone nuts...I not ur girlfriend nor am I ur property. It was just a smile. I am not so naive and y should it even bother to you. Its my life. What do u do? Always taunt me, insult me and then also wish that u rule my life. I wanted this job becoz if not aaji would have got a match for me...and I don't want to marry any tom, dick and harry. And thanx for giving me a chance to prove my worth and answering premwith such a silent slap...I know that was ur ploy Don't u shy away coz I know it. Why Raghav..why r u like this? Y did u help me and yet y r so angry.? What have I done? U want to cut me off from your world , yet u won't let me go. And what will you do now follow me wherever I go for a job..why ..? And y the hell am I answering u knowing u will hurt me more..right I know u know how much u mean to me..how much u effect me..yes Raghav now gloat more that you know my damn feelings now and I just can't look or feel for any one else apart from you..I am not a part of your world. I have accepted the fact. But I am not ashamed to have feelings for you but that doestn give a right to u to form assumptions about me, take decisions on my behalf, dare u Raghav Singhania"
Both silently just watching each other. Kalpi eyes were filled with water but she controlled herself she had opened herself and was ready to be mocked and made fun of but she couldn't take it more. He hurt her today a lot and it was time he was given a peice of mind. She couldn't take his silent I ntent gaze anymore. He hasn't spoken and had silently heard her every rant. She didn't no wahat was in his mind. She just wanted to ho away and as she trued to remove his hand...he hugged her tight..she was shocked, elated..
R-" u r right kalpi. U r Nat a part of my world. Neither r u my girlfriend and friends we can never be. Because u r my world Kalpana. My world begins and ends with u. My morning begins with thinking about u and nights end dreaming about u. How when u became my world I dunno. I tried hard to not let you near me but not anymore. I thought those who I love leave me and go away and this hurts. That is why I was always so rude to you. But not anymore. I can't see you going away from me. I want you to be a part of my success , my happiness and I want to be there we ith u at your every success . Don't u dare leave me. Hate me but don't ever leave me. Come with me in my world Kalpna.. K-" Raghav u r crazy. Yesss yes yes..I will be there with u in every stage of our lives I promise...and come how many Varun I will not leave you. But stop behaving like s neanderthal man"
They both start smiling and once again hug each other happily...when Kalpana pushes him softly and asks him
K-" Raghav what did Varun say to you that u looked you would break his neck and came to me like a raging protective lion and don't lie"
Raghav became all red blushing hard " umm, actually he wanted u to become his gf and work for him coz he found you were very intelligent..and he was planning to woo you and that broke all my patience and barriers I had around me. He found you very hot in this dress".
Kalpna was giggling now" oh my god! Really he found me hott..though I must say he is very handsome..good u got ur brains in time . now u can rest I won't go anywhere. Hey be happy but tell me wu didn't like my dress? Didn't u find me hott?" she pulled his furious red cheeks giggling all time.Raghav pulled her through her waist" don't u even dare to think Kalpana, u r only mine and believe me I wanna show what I am feeling right now seeing u in this dress and he kissed her with all love an passion pulling her into his world and together kissing the beginning of their new life...
