Another fast paced episode (Good job, CVs)

Urmi suggests going to Diya's place to get the dress worn at the time of rape. (Don't think the Tiwaris would keep it around 🤔) Shaurya is not so sure but Diya is hopeful she'll be received back home.

The minute they step out they are hounded by the media (Who informed the media? Or did it get out from the police station? There were many people there) The reporters in their aggressive style starts to ask insensitive questions which further upsets Diya and angers Shaurya who gives a firm "No Comments!" and manages to get themselves away from there.

Finally Cheeku hears the news from a staff member. Frankly speaking, I really wish Cheeku had gotten to hear about it some other way, maybe through Shaurya himself. Just because of how close the three of them were together but then I understand Shaurya's stand to protect Diya's privacy. Anyways I felt bad the way Cheeku comes to know of this.

Tiwaris packing bags, preparing to take off to their village but immediate tickets are hard to come by so now they are forced to wait 2 days. Diya comes in hopeful that it was only her father's anger which did the talking previously and now she would be welcomed home. How wrong she turns out to be . Mr. Tiwari's words about wishing she were dead and how they would only have to have mourned her loss instead of having to leave the city came across as incredibly horrible and selfish 😡 (Guess this is why acts like honour killing happens in our country, they'd rather kill than let the family be tainted in any way 👎🏼). After various insults thrown her way as well as directed at Shaurya and Urmi, all three are unceremoniously pushed out of the house by Devesh with the doors slammed on their faces.
*Speaking of doors, don't know if anyone else noticed, but during this scene where Diya was begging to be taken back, the doors seemed to gain life of its own and slowly closed by itself 😛 Found it hilariously spooky especially during such an intense scene 😆 A blooper probably but maybe the house itself didn't want her to leave 😉*

Karan's audition dialogues about promising his life and love to some Seema, and making promises of sticking by her side through thick and thin was so disgustingly ironic not to mention hypocritical. I've felt before too that Diya and Karan should really switch families. His mom is ashamed of such a son who didn't even try to help his fiancee in order to save his own ass, while on the other hand the Tiwaris disowned their own daughter blaming her for an incident that was no fault of hers except that she tried to do the right thing for herself.

The news is all over the channels and soon everyone from Karan's family (love the way media blames Karan for not saving Diya) to the Sinha mansion are shocked and bewildered. (The reporters specifically stated that no visuals/names would be shown so how were the Sinhas able to make out that it was Diya whose face was blurred 😕?)

Urmi enters home with Shaurya and Diya in tow much to everyone's surprise. Loved the way Aniruddh and Ishaani treated Diya, especially Ishaani (of course no one can say what'll happen to her attitude in the coming weeks). Damini tries to prod about the incident only for Shaurya to mildly motion to her not to. Everyone is obviously surprised on coming to know her family has disowned her and Aniruddh offers their full support. Finally Urmi drops the bombshell - "Diya will be living with us here in this house" and everyone especially Damini are stunned.

Precap: As expected Damini doesn't take this well and expresses her strong disapproval on Diya staying with them saying it will affect Ishaani's prospects of a good marriage (Wow! Some "logic", that . I thought the lady was against her priya poti getting married any time soon so where does this reasoning come in?)

Diya is hopeful that her parents would let her enter as they might've shouted at her in the spur of the moment. Urmi and Shaurya leave the hospital with her. As soon as they exit, the media people swarm them with questions. They don't even hesitate in using camera insensitively. Diya turns around in anguish. Shaurya tells them all off angrily and leaves with Diya and Urmi.

At Awaz office, Cheeku is shocked to hear the news. He does not believe at first. Then calls start coming and realisation dawns.

Diya's family is busy packing to leave for their hometown, to escape the "bad reputation". Diya's father returns home with train tickets in Tatkal, but it is for two days after.

[Just sharing a fact : Tickets in Tatkal quota can be booked only 24 hours prior to the journey, not two days before...have been doing for almost two years myself in IRCTC]

Diya's family can't see the sense in Urmi's words and in turn, accuses Shaurya and Urmi as usual. Her father ruthlessly say she should've died, not returned alive. Then they wouldn't have had to run away to village, to save their "reputation"

Diya is distraught and begs her family members, one by one.

Her father shouts at her to go with the ones she placed her trust while leaving their home to file the complaint.

Karan is preparing for his audition and is instructing his mother to get the expensive engagement ring back from Diya in exchange of the cheaper one he got. His mother is feeling ashamed of him. Just then, Diya is being shown in news.

At Shaurya's home, everyone sees the report. Everyone is sympathetic. Urmi arrives with Shaurya and Diya just then. Shaurya guesses rightly that the news might be out by now.

[The media people assured not to take Diya's name, but what use would it be, if they show the visuals? Shaurya's words are true...masala news is what majority hunts...]

Ishani offers water compassionately and Shaurya looks on. As Damini is about to ask more, Shaurya gestures her not to. As it becomes clear that Diya's parents don't support her decision to file complaint, Damini asks whether Shaurya had forced her to do that. Shaurya denies. All family members offer their support. Damini says she should take rest now, be with her family. Urmi reveals that as DIya can't return home, she would live with them from now on.

Precap showed Damini raising protest against Urmi's decision, saying it might affect Ishani's future marriage proposals.

Lovely update as usual, Lux 👍🏼, you explain it all so well and seamlessly

@red - Really? Wasn't aware of this. It must have been a blooper 😆. The scene had another one when Diya is crying to her dad the doors mysteriously closed by itself 😛, had to watch the scene again to make sure I wasn't seeing things 😆

@blue - I think her face was blurred but clearly not enough since the Sinhas were able to make out that it was Diya. Wonder what's the whole purpose of hiding the victims' faces then 🤔?

Shaurya was right about the channels just looking for masala news. The way they hounded Diya saying that she needed to talk as the world needed to know what happened. Why?? Like Shaurya asked, is it a threat to national security 👏? Shaurya became the Awaaz newspaper boss there, who knew exactly how things worked in that field so took immediate command of the situation and got them out of there.

I am glad Urmi is by her side. Damini 🤢

True, but I guess majority of people are like that. There only few like Shaurya and Urmi. And Karan's mom, I must admire that lady for her thinking and the way she admonishes Karan for being down rate pathetic in his thinking and attitude 👏. Wonder how does a son like Karan is born to her?? Didn't her thinking made an impact on Karan in shaping him into s better human being coz generally kids learn and acquire a lot from their parents. This what we call sanskar.

I so agree with you about how Cheeku comes to know about Diya. He would definitely be hurt but looking at his character he would take it logically and would understand Shaurya's concerns. I happy that he has come to know about the truth and now he too can be one more positive support for Diya coz she needs all and more positive people behind her with all this negativity floating around. Hoping for some good and encouraging scenes between our trio of Shaurya Diiya and Cheeku.

As for the door, OMG you are so right. This was spooky! I guess for a moment the director got confused that he is directing DAK and not Aahat 😆

@Glider, I guess Tiwaris were trying to move out of the city the same day and that is why Mrs Tiwari suggested that they could buy the ticket in tatkal but that too was not available.

Excellent post Lux and Zephyr.
Lux like sakhi said they went to buy same day tickets but could only manage tickets post 2 days due to season or something.

They did show the face bit blur but it was enough for those who knew shaurya, Urmi to make out that it was Diya. In real tv they blur the face better.

I liked the way they passed a message through yesterday's episode that the victims name and identity is not disclosed in such cases. Sharuya explicitly asked Bade papa if they took diya's name or picture. In real life too reporters or anybody are not supposed to disclose victims name or identity.

I could see Cheeku's eyes got moist on hearing the news😭. Hope he too becomes Diya's strength and brings some light moments in shaya scenes

I am sure the news that fiancee had fled the scene and is not supporting Diya is going to make Karan blur out something. Or he has seen the publicity that can be gained in speaking to media. Not sure why he is going to speak to media. But not just a verbal spat with Shaurya, i want Diya to listen to everything he says and then give him a nice tight slap on his face for what he kept saying and what he did to her.😡

WOndered the same...

Me too...he was also their friend...but I guess he wouldn't hold it against them...he's such a sweet person..and Shaurya had promised Diya's parents...maybe that's why...but I felt he could've been of great help if he knew before...

the inanimate house seems to have more sense than her parents...

Agree..

They have seen her before...and seeing Shaurya and Urmi, they might've guessed...I need to watch that scene once more...

People like her may not need much reason to think ill of others I guess...no logic seems to fit in here...
