PART 4:
Raghu's Point of View.
I left Miss Kaul alone in the hospital and the guilt was killing me. Antara kept insisting me to go away and she suddenly started behaving weird . I knew Antara very well ,woh joh bhi karti hai soch samajh kar karti hain. She is up to something so I let her do what she is doing.
"Bhai maine woh Satya ko Antara ke kamre me jaate hue dekha" Machmach comes running and tells me
"Abe DUFFER. Phir use akela kyun choda. Tune Satya ko waha se bhagaya kyun nahi. Paagal ! Apun ko use akela chodna hi nahi chahiye tha" I said angrily.
"Bhai , mujhe waise bhi aapko hospital bulana tha. Aapko yaha akela nahi hona chahiye. Aapko Antara ke saath hona chahiye. Abhi Chalo Mere Saath Hospital" said machmach.
He was correct. I should be with Miss Kaul.
I and Machmach stepped into the jeep and drove to the hospital.
I took a deep breath and went into Miss Kaul's room.
"Miss Kaul, kaisi hai tu ?" I asked. Uski Aankhon Mein Aansoon the."Theek Hoon"she said. "Aur tujhe kya ho gaya tha?"I asked her. "Mujhe kuch nahi hua tha" she said. "Waah ! Jhoot bol rahi hai to kisse ? Apni Parchayi se ?Miss Kaul, tere dimaag mein kuch toh chal raha hai. Tu Mujhe nahi batayegi ?" I said trying to emotionally blackmail her. "Raghu, mein baar baar same cheez repeat nahi karne vaali hoon. Tumhe joh samjhna hai woh samajh lo"she said. I understood that she was not going to tell me anything. Just then ,sister entered the room . "Accha hua aap aa gaye. Inhe maine ek dawaai di thi jisse neend aa jaati hai. Yeh toh aaraam se soti bhi nahi hai. Sote waqt inke chehre pe pareshaani hoti hain aur yeh aapka naam leti rehti hai. Raghu , raghu ,raghu . "said the sister. I looked at my Miss Kaul . I wanted to hug her tightly. I went and hugged her tightly making sure her wrist doesnt get hurt. There was something really bothering her and I wanted to sort it all out. I wanted to give my Miss Kaul a peaceful life without any problems.
Antara's Point of View :
When he hugged me I forgot everything. Mein Bhool gayi thi ki mujhe ek naatak karna tha. I unknowingly hugged him back and that gave me inner peace. All I wanted is a peaceful and simple life with Raghu. I had lost control over my self. He cupped my face and said "Kya hua hai Miss Kaul ?". "Raghu , tum mere saath thodi der ke liye idhar hi reh sakte ho?" I said. WHAT WAS I SAYING ? I WAS SUPPOSED TO STAY AWAY FROM RAGHU AND ACT LIKE I WAS WITH SATYA . OH NO!! I UNKNOWINGLY SHOWED MY INNER FEELINGS. "Nahi nahi, tum ab jao yaha se. Jao Raghu ! Isi Waqt Jao"I said. Raghu was hell confused. "Yeh Tujhe kya ho gaya hai Miss Kaul"he asked me with a big question mark in his face.
Sister interrupted again "Antara ka discharge abhi ho sakta hain. Aap ise ghar le jaa sakte hain". "Thank You Sister" Raghusaid with a genuine smile on my face. Satya and Daya Mai were not in the hospital and had gone to Naik Sadan due to some work. Only Raghu and Machmach were there . Frankly speaking , it was only those two who I could actually trust. I trusted Raghu but I still couldn't tell him that I was acting. I got up and me and Raghu after doing completing some formalities of the hospital left the hospital. "Chal Miss Kaul , tujhe abhi ghar chalna hai aur khushi khushi. Tumhaari Maa bahut pareshaan ho gayi thi"Raghu said. "Kaise hain Mumma?"I asked. "Woh tujhe dekhkar behosh ho gayi thi par chinta mat kar, Rukhsana ne doctor bulaya tha aur woh abhi theek hain"Raghu said. "Kya ? Mumma behosh ho gayi thi .Mujhe Mumma se baat karni hai . ABHI !!!" I said . "Miss Kaul Shaant ho jaa . Ek Kaam Kar ,tu unse phone be baat kar".said Raghu. He dialed mumma's number noticing that I was getting impatient. "Hello, Rukhsana ? Haan, Zara Geeta ji ko phone dena"Raghu said. He handed the phone over to me with a smile. "Le Baat kar"Raghu said. "Hello, mumma?" I said. "Antara, tu kaisi hain. Tune to meri jaan hi nikaal di thi"said mumma. "Sorry Mumma. Aage se mein aisa nahi karoongi." I said with a tear in my eye. Raghu was smiling at my childish reply. "Mumma,aap abhi kaise ho?"I asked. "Tu theek hai ,to mein theek hoon beta"said mumma. "Tu bas abhi ghar aaja." said mumma."Haan , mein aati hoon" I said and ended the call. "Khush ?" Raghu asked me. I nodded my head."Accha Miss Kaul , sun toh zara" Raghu said. "Kya?"I asked. "I love you"he said. It came out of nowhere!! I wanted to tell him how much I loved him too but I had to control myself. "Jaldi se ghar chalo,mumma intezaar kar rahi hogi" I said changing the topic. I was unable to maintain eye-contact with him. Raghu smiled at my shyness and said "Chal ... Apne haath ko sambhaal ke jeep ke andar aaja" "Haath ko sambhalke? Oh Meri wrist . Mein toh bhool hi gayi thi ki mujhe meri wrist mein chot lagi hai"I said. There was so much going on in my mind that I forgot that I had slit my wrist.
"Chahe tu bhool ja , par mein nahi bhool sakta"said Raghu.
He drove me back to the Basti and I was mesmerized and was looking at him constantly. He dropped me outside my house and said "Miss Kaul agar tujhe dikhaana hai ki tu mujhse nafrat karti hai toh khul- khula mujhe dekha mat kar. Tera naatak spoil ho jayega"Raghu said . He then gave me a wink. I instantly started blushing and I turned around. "Mein Ghar Jaa Rahi hoon, Ghar tak chodne ke liye Thank You"I said and I ran into my house.
Ghar par mumma ne mujhe bahut daata . She scolded me for doing such a foolish thing. "Paagal, aise tune kabhi bhi kiya na to mein mar jaoongi" said mumma. "Mumma please aise mat bolo. Sorry"I said. "Chal theek hai abhi."she said ."Beta, tune Raghu ke saath shaadi tod kar ek dum sahi kiya. Main nahi chahti ki tu usse koi rishta abhi rakhe. Usne tera papa ko maara hai"said mumma.
"Mumma ,nahi! Main abhi aapko kuch nahi bata sakti hoon par aap mujhpe bharosa rakho.Mujhe pata hai ki main kya kar rahi hoon" I said. " I trust you beta."mumma said. I then knew what I was supposed to do. Saheb must have found out about my arrival in the Basti. I had to continue my acting. I entered Naik Sadan to meet Saheb. There was no one in the hall and living room so I decided to directly go to Saheb's room but then I heard Daya Mai and Rasika's voices from a room. I went outside the room and hid my self in order to make an attempt to hear everything secretly.
"Sab Kuch Sahi raaste pe jaa raha hai. Antara ko lagta hain ki Raghu Dr.Kaul ke death ke liye zimmedar hai "said Dayamai .
"Haan woh to hai maai. Par iski wajah se bechaara Raghu phas gaya ha" said Rasika. "Tu Raghu ki Taraphdaari karna band karegi?"said Dayamai. "Main uss Antara se bahut Naphrat karti hoon. Raghu ki wajah se mujhe usse acchi tareeke se baat karna padta hai. Raghu mera ek paaltu kutta hai. Mein uska istamaal apne bahut saare kaam mein kar sakti hoon"said Dayamai. I WAS SHOCKED. I COULD NEVER IMAGINE THAT DAYAMAI WAS THIS NEGATIVE .RAGHU WORSHIPS HER !! When Raghu finds out about her true nature he will be completely shattered. "Aur yeh toh accha hai. Mere goondon ne Aman ke saath milkar Kashmir me woh bomb blast karvaya aur...phasa Raghu !..." said Dayamai laughing. I was stunned. She was responsible for my father's death. I felt like going and yelling at her but no... I had to control myself as the situations could worsen. If she finds out that I know everything she could cause a lot of harm to Raghu, me , my family. She was a cruel women. I had to continue acting like I dont know about Raghu's innocence and I have teamed up with Satya to seek revenge from Raghu.
