I would appreciate it if this discussion STAYS a discussion!
DEFINITION of DISCUSSION---debating on a topic/issue/problem and voicing opinions
added definition---opinions WITHOUT Personal Attacks. 🥰
I really don't see the issue in voicing an opinion and critiquing the creatives on where they have gone wrong. if you find their repeatitive "creativity" pleasant that's good and do voice your opinion about that, but please have some basis to your argument, which pertains to the SHOW--DMG only!
and btw how many times does Riddhima plan to CONFESS to herself? She has done it before and the creatives are just on repeat mode. 😆

Are you serious?
My little cousins watch DMG and one or two or hundred little love scenes isnt going to stop us from letting them watch it
It's a cute show...but at the end of the day everyone knows its a LOVE STORY...soo all this was bound to happen...aaj nahin to kal...because physical desire is necessary in love....if its REAL love... nobody actually dances around trees or ontop of hills.... 🙂

I agree here...physical attraction is necessary, but it isn't the basis of LOVE! and that's all that is being shown currently. If you let your cousins watch it..that's fine..that's a personal choice...your choice. DMG is aimed at young kids, but that doesn't mean sending them a wrong message--the message that love is only physical desire/attraction. It's obvious even majority here on this forum have been influenced by those scenes..proving the basis of my point. 🥰

HERE'S WHAT I FEEL:
The debate on Obscenity is never ending. We all come from different backgrounds and it is not necessary (or possible) for everyone to accept everything.

IF has been kind enough to provide us with a place to discuss our favorite show on TV, and I'm afraid some people are just filling up the forum with topics which are not in the best-interest of DMG. First it was Sukirti being blamed for Shilpa's departure and everything else. And now we got this.

Dill Mill Gayye is a show aimed at the urban educated youth. ....our protagonist Riddhima is a 21-year-old intern..... that's the description of the DMG at Indya.com. And that makes 2 things crystal-clear:

1. No one ever said DMG is a show for kids! if kids are watching & enjoying it, very well! If you think your kids are watching something inappropriate, then it's your fault and not the Creatives' !!!

2. Riddhima is 21, she's an adult. If the show focuses on the aspects of her personal life, no one should be surprised to find her with Armaan at the staircase!

And as I've said in some other thread: "Dont' like it? Don't watch it! Simple as that! " Please leave our favorite show, actors and us alone. DMG is meant for the mentally matured audience, not Saas-Bahu crowd. Peace!

it's not a dirty word, because people actually base their relationships and life off of that. But lust is definitely NOT love or any part of it.
Shweta

I beg to differ, lust has a strong role to play in love, no one other than the purest of souls fall in love at first sight, it is the interest for the physical outlook of a person that attract us to them. Love is born through this desire so most of the time in the real world when we say I love that person it is our subconsious mind saying that is a person who would be a good partner to you physically and mentally both. I wish i can say more on this subject cos i've studied on it but since a lot of kids come here i can't say what i really want to say.
Without the physical aspect if the only thing you feel for that person is pure love and you don't want to think of that person as a sexual being, you are in the medical sense an ill person. they have therpy for that kind of people and this state of mind is called ISD. so i'm glad that ridzi isnt suffering from that and in her mind she has accepted armaan as her equal both mentally and physically which was shown by the way she loved armaan's qualities which appealed to mentally and she loved armaan as a man which appealed to her physically.
also about kids watching and you don't want to talk about other shows i think that's pretty wired, cos if we lived in a world where we can't compare with other things then we would never know the relative good or bad of anything. we know that TV today isn't what it used to be, but we are not living in th victorian age where we have to cover up from head to toe. This is the society we live in so we have to deal with it. If parents don't feel comfortable letting children watch DMG or you feel that your parents won't feel happy about you watching the show then you should consider what you want to do. just because there's war in the world doesn't mean we all have to fight, likewise just cos there are people who don't want to watch DMG it doesn't mean we all have to stop enjoying. (i'm sorry for using war as an example)
Finally i must say sorry if i hurt anyone's feelings. but yesterday's episode to me made perfect sense, and if you actually know the youth of today who has access to far worse things than DMG and still remains true to themselfs then i don't think DMG would be such an issue. kids are a lot smarter than what you give them credit for.
