[QUOTE=priyankumupal

I beg to differ, lust has a strong role to play in love, no one other than the purest of souls fall in love at first sight, it is the interest for the physical outlook of a person that attract us to them. Love is born through this desire so most of the time in the real world when we say I love that person it is our subconsious mind saying that is a person who would be a good partner to you physically and mentally both. I wish i can say more on this subject cos i've studied on it but since a lot of kids come here i can't say what i really want to say.
Without the physical aspect if the only thing you feel for that person is pure love and you don't want to think of that person as a sexual being, you are in the medical sense an ill person. they have therpy for that kind of people and this state of mind is called ISD. so i'm glad that ridzi isnt suffering from that and in her mind she has accepted armaan as her equal both mentally and physically which was shown by the way she loved armaan's qualities which appealed to mentally and she loved armaan as a man which appealed to her physically.
also about kids watching and you don't want to talk about other shows i think that's pretty wired, cos if we lived in a world where we can't compare with other things then we would never know the relative good or bad of anything. we know that TV today isn't what it used to be, but we are not living in th victorian age where we have to cover up from head to toe. This is the society we live in so we have to deal with it. If parents don't feel comfortable letting children watch DMG or you feel that your parents won't feel happy about you watching the show then you should consider what you want to do. just because there's war in the world doesn't mean we all have to fight, likewise just cos there are people who don't want to watch DMG it doesn't mean we all have to stop enjoying. (i'm sorry for using war as an example)
Finally i must say sorry if i hurt anyone's feelings. but yesterday's episode to me made perfect sense, and if you actually know the youth of today who has access to far worse things than DMG and still remains true to themselfs then i don't think DMG would be such an issue. kids are a lot smarter than what you give them credit for.
I agree that physicality is apart of love, but lust isn't. If lust is love then what is love in your view? đŸ„°Lust and Love are two separate things for sure! 🙂 I could explain lust to you, but not here for sure. And why I know MANY and I'm sure there are a MILLION people who fall in love without going thru "love at first sight". I don't know if being the "purest of the purest souls" has Anything to do with that. 😉I'm not talking or referring to other shows, because DMG is the forum we are at...and it's creatives and actors speak about how their show is targeted to youth. Just because the characters are 21 does not mean it's only aimed at that age group. đŸ„°
I think you are getting a little offended, but not once have I asked anyone to stop enjoying or watching the show because it's a free world. Everyone has the ability to chose and do whatever they want to do. Having said that...that's exactly what I'm doing...presenting my viewpoint and my opinion. I'm respecting your thoughts and viewpoints. I haven't said that kids are not smart....I don't think you are or wanting to understand my thoughts. Maybe it's a personal bias that maybe preventing many to understand another's opinion and respect it (obviously respecting DOES NOT mean to agree)!
I'm not offended, but to prevent other memebers of this forum from getting offended i would appreciate it if people keep their comments to the topic and not ask someone to watch or not watch the show. 🙂

Shweta di!!!!!

I just always love to see your posts
SO
Everyone has said one thing or another ... so i am not going to say anything
I am going to show you something
its an intense scene between a couple
but see how it is picturised
look at the emotions
look at the whole mood of the scene -
look at how wonderfully and beautifully it was presented
I know I know
Me and Kumkum😆
I could have given an example from DMG with the skirt scene but we have already talked enough about that and some would never understand because Shilpa is in it
so to keep the comparison between the two actresses out of the discussion i chose a scene from another serial
So I wanted to show the difference instead of talking
I agree Karan and Sukk had the potential to do a better job
and they could have done a lot better of a job
if the scene made sense
but the way it was shot
and the way the creatives presented it
was not tasteful
it was all the games of gaining TRPs

Oh Gagan...KumKum...let's just say that it's one of those shows that is highly underrated!
Anyways I agree the creatives have set a high standard, which they haven't been reaching upto, instead everything they are doing is very distasteful...I'm sure this ISN'T what the audience is asking for...all this "appreciation" is really a personal bias, which is blocking sensibilities. đŸ„°
Luv you Gagan!

yeah di
you are right about that
see sometimes trying to explain things becomes really difficult
so i wanted to show a scene that reflects my opinion towards such presentations
it is so hard for me to explain sometimes what i truly mean and sometimes it is taken negatively by some people
so for me to participate in this discussion i chose the easy way out
to show you what i was looking for
or what i would have expected

thank you so much for this! and yes omg i totally agree with you and honestlyim only 14 i felt tht there was absolutley nothing worng with wat was shown on dmg... cuz they never sed tht dmg is for kids they just sed it was youth oriented ..... plus if you watch hindi movies youll see like a hundred times worse crap going on.... wat was shown in dmg was not vulgar at any level......
"1. No one ever said DMG is a show for kids! if kids are watching & enjoying it, very well! If you think your kids are watching something inappropriate, then it's your fault and not the Creatives' !!!" - very true........

I agree Gagan...sometimes words can be understood...actually often they are...so I'm glad I found many on this forum, who are able to understand and respect even if they have opposing perspectives.
