1. Having OCPD does not magically make you an abusive person. I think this has been proved a million times on this forum in a million different ways. He chose to be abusive. He chose to derive pleasure from demeaning the people around him. That's what abusers - normal or not - do, you see. They choose. As do rapists. As do child molesters. As do people who perpetrate abuse and then blame it on what they/the victim was drinking or what their victim wore to 'provoke' them.

2. My favourite thing about the 'fairytale' argument? 😆 If people actually saw the amount of violence and sexual allusions in them, they'd think again before using it to describe a near-perfect situation! I'd think I'll scandalize people who have seen just the sanitized versions and say the most 'fairytale' aspect of this serial was definitely Viraaj and Jhanvi -- the story of Bluebeard for instance? The man who kills each of his wives for 'disobeying' him, and keeps their corpses in a room? Or Little Red Riding Hood, perhaps? The innocent girl about to be 'eaten' by the big bad wolf? (one of the earliest versions had a very grisly description of how the wolf had killed the grandmother, plus has the girl almost eat the woman's flesh and blood). The original Sleeping Beauty mentions rape. Fairytales, indeed. If Raghav/Sia were anything like a fairytale, I'd be scared. Very scared.

3. Yes...society calls a number of women characterless - even rape victims! The same society tells its daughters to go back to abusive husbands, to keep quiet about the sexual abuse they face rather than report it, watch a little girl get raped in a train without lifting so much as a finger. I don't exactly think they have a right to judge a person's character - esp when the 'character' of a Jhanvi can be judged on the basis of whether she is friends (not even in a relationship until the divorce was done! Friends!) with a man or not, but a Viraaj can flirt with a Priya shortly after his 'beloved' wife's death, or flirt with women in the same house where the woman he considers his wife stays in? Not that I'm surprised. 'Society' has always been that way!

Bold: You nailed it. I especially loved the second paragraph. Complemented my point on fairy tales.
V always chose to commit his crimes. To blame it on his OCPD is to excuse and justify his deeds.

]And please enlighten me - what is a "normal" abuser??[/DIV]

[B]"character less woman"
What on earth has Sia done pre-divorce that makes her characterless??!!It is this very thought that brings down our society.😡

Wasn't Viraj characterless to romance Priya soon after his wife's death - considering how much he "LOVED" his jaan??

[quote]

For some Sia will be in good character when she will go back to her abusove husband. If she will not go back then she will be characterless.

Can't imagine what some viewer think about Sia

I am sick and tired of this crapest show ever shwn on television in the name of domestic volience. The entire creatives are binch of morons who just want to force on us all misleading concepts and dare to say they are right. They can simply turn absurer sane by making him mad. I wish all creatives to get such partners. What is joke is that if their wifes were in same position like sia and they are person who married i am sure they have big heart to bring home their wife ex may be after giving the ex shock treatment and become this surrogate parents. Later these cv will donate their wife back to abuser and will leave for himalayas. Good very good keep it up... Make your wifes too an object like u are doing with sia. Have guts? Show it... One thing i have promised my self that i will never watch any show made by anshuman , sanjog and others however good it is. They have crossed all limits of humiliating women.
I am proud that Harshad is leaving this show. I have full faith in him that he will never announce his leaving just for publicity stunt but he is man of action. He will only come back if whatever was promised to him is given . Harshad we are proud of you.

So what do you suggest a person who is in Jhanvi's position to do then? Continue living with Viraj? Because my own mother left my dad because he used to beat her!! DOES THAT MEAN SHE'S CHARACTERLESS?!?!?!?!
I'm so glad we're just chatting, because I swear if you came in front of me and told me that to my face...I think I'm gonna go to jail for murder

Attacking people and mocking them for their opinions is absolutely wrong. It will NOT be tolerated. Just because people are enjoying the show now, whatever their reasons may be, that does not give anyone free license to mock them/make sarcastic comments directed at them. And at the same time - no need to attack members because they don't like the show at the moment. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions - please remember that.

Members will be PMed regarding any consequences.

It's really sad to see a thread that was started off on a trying to be positive, ended up in such negativity, reduced to attacking members, taking digs at each other (this goes for everyone).

And like we've stated multiple times before - stick to the topic at hand. Please. It really helps to prevent threads from becoming war zones.

Please don't take your out your frustrations with the show/forum on other members.
