So if we assume this is a setting for richenberg fall of Sherlock .. a good climax for s2. So in BBC Sherlock I remember there was a scene where Mrs Hudson apprently was "sick" and John was like let's go, Sherlock sat there and was so cool that John was shocked. There was a dialogue "what's wrong with you? It's her!" And he left in anger...so what if dev misbehaving with apa is a plan. I mean even when he's having his fits he never cross that line. He always listens to her. So maybe this is a plan...what can be traced back to him wiping away body marks from floor. I can't believe his first reaction seeing mehak is not of betrayal but of awe that omg she survived...I mean hell no how does that even makes sense? He was in trauma for years that he killed her, it ruined his life and till this day he blames himself, he probably lost his reputation cause of her. And since that day was crystal clear so it only means this girl is not mehak. Then why she's here now and what's up with the bechari angel? He also put Abdul on her, did Abdul stop at finding her background? No. He has to see this Vani/mehak had some shady past. The psychiatrist, why he's wheelchair bound? What Happened and when, was it before marriage or after ? And his anger issues, there has to be some case in past. Over all what I am trying to say is this is all.a setting for "fall" and I am hoping he didn't lose his marbles. Though I would love to see him losing it and others saving the day but that would dumb him down way too much.

This. This is exactly what I'm getting at. This is a good show and this is their idea of a "thrilling" twist. It's boring. I hated it, but there's more to it than they showed. That kiss was unneeded, but there's something behind it. Dev can't just be falling for Vani. He's letting himself fall into their trap. He's playing them by playing into their hands. And if the CVs decide that the logical ending is for everything to be taken at face value then it'll be a very bad ending indeed.
