TM good analysis,Vaani's portrayal of being a victim of domestic violence doesn't look convincing to me,as u mentioned,she shows no signs of being tortured like that other than making it pretty obvious to dev that she is a victim of domestic violence.I maybe wrong,but this Vaani looks far from innocent to me.even Mehak looked like a character with gray shades.and if Mr. Sahay is so intelligent as is being shown,why would he invite dev to his house again n again,get him drunk on purpose,beat his wife like that,so as to make dev aware that he does beat his wife,all of this looks like a trap!!and I really like it whenever meera goes out of her way to help dev in everything,she has started to care a lot about him,so much so that m pretty sure she has fallen for him,and it's good that she's trying to solve this Mehak/Vaani case and she is trying to smell the foul.even I don't buy that dev is fool enough to get into this trap that easily,maybe there's something on his mind,as he told Zohra apa that 'mujhe pata hai mai kya kar raha hu'and I didn't like the way he treated Zohra apa because of his stupid obsession with a woman,Zohra apa has always treated n loved him like her son,I hope they give a justification to dev's annoying behaviour!!..I hope that he sees the bigger picture.that lip-lock between dev and Vaani was cringeworthy!! 🤢..what the hell has gotten into dev,kissing someone else's wife like that!!meera saw it with tears in her eyes 😭..she indeed has fallen for a guy who is indifferent to her n sometimes takes her for granted!!..someone needs to knock some sense into him!!..dev-Mehak/Vaani just don't fit together IMO!!

guys i agree dev vani is not right at all...but i feel that b4 the kiss she might have agreed that she is mehek and that made him indulge in a kiss...i may be wrong but meera loves dev but with the show i dont think meera dev will end up with each other..

@saaniakh,I agree with you!!neither Mehak ever gave me good vibes,nor this Vaani is giving!!..there's something seriously wrong about this character IMO,by seeing how she's portrayed,she doesn't look innocent at all to me!I have never felt connected to dev-mehak's story,it lacks depth,looks kind of forced and doesn't give me true love type of vibes!!I guess i would blame it on the actress,I personally don't find Pooja convincing enough as Mehak,due to lack of expressions and portrayal of emotions.on the other hand,at first I thought meera was just another con artist and would disappear in an episode,but I got to know later that she indeed is the female lead,and gradually,the character started growing on me.she has obviously endured a lot in her past,and is a single mother who loves her son unconditionally,I always had this feeling that Maybe avi is not her real son,but the writers haven't unfolded anything on this as of now.I always have felt intrigued to know more about meera's past,as compared to Mehak,TBH I find Mehak/Vaani the most boring and uninteresting and unnecessary character in the show!!i have felt love from dev's side for Mehak but not from Mehak for dev!! I have felt more connected to dev-meera,they appear more natural,realistic,I think they definitely have developed a bond gradually and over time,and they care for each other,whether they accept it or not,had dev not been obsessed with Mehak and his past,I don't see why he won't fall for meera,he is still in love with Mehak,Let's see if he finally gets a closure on this or not,the problem is the limited number of episodes,meera has fallen in love with dev and it's quite clear,but they haven't really invested much time in dev's outlook towards meera and him seeing her in a different light because he is still literally obsessed with Mehak!!but they definitely have invested time in showing dev-meera moments and a possible love story between them,but suddenly this Mehak look alike came into picture,which looks forced and out of place,Dev-Mehak is a big no for me,no matter what they show,whereas dev-meera are perfect in my eyes!!now let's see what they show!

Wow that kiss and look of both on each other is so good...loved dev Mehek...
