CHAPTER 14
After reaching home Manyata, Unnati, J, Vijay and Uday talk to Raj about what he did there, what was it like there and so on.
Slowly everyone felt sleepy and starting heading to their rooms. Manyata and Uday were the only ones talking to Raj.
Gradually Uday and Raj started talking business and Manyata slept their on the couch.
After finishing the discussion, Uday was just going to carry her to take her to her room when Raj spoke
Raj: Ahhaa. Abhi main hu yaha. Jab tak main hun tab tak uski zimmedari meri hai.
Uday just smiled at him and backed off.
Raj picked up Manyata and took her too her room and then went to his room.
Uday too headed to sleep.
NEXT DAY
At the breakfast table J announced that all of them will be going for a picnic and that everyone should be ready by 11 in the hall.
By 11:15 everyone had settled down in their cars and were ready to leave.
(Car1: Uday, Manyata, Unnati, Aditi. Car2: J, Vijay, Jagat, Raj. Car3: Giri, Brij. Car4: Karan and his date for the day.)

Brij Has a talk with Raj on some topic and it gets heated up. Raj leaves from there and goes towards the parking.
Nobody saw this except Manyata.
Manyata runs after Raj and calls for him.
Manyata: Kya hua dada aap itne pareshan kyu lag rahe hai.
Raj: Kuch nahi choti. Bas woh zara sa sir mein dard hone laga.
Manyata: Nahi dada aap kisi aur baat se pareshan hai.
Raj: Tumne sun liya na
Manyata nods
Manyata: Par dada aap kyu nahi chahte aisa ho. Aditi didi toh aapse bahut pyaar karti hai toh fir aap unse shadi kyu nahi karna chahte. Kya aap unse pyaar nahi karte?
Raj does not say anything
Manyata: Boliye dada kya aap isliye aditi didi se shaadi nahi karna chahte kyunki aap unse pyaar nahi karte.
Raj: Nahi yeh baat nahi hai
Manyata: Toh fir kya baat hai? Kya aap karte hai unse pyaar?
Raj: Haan choti haan.. Tumhe toh maloom hi hai na toh fir kyu puch rahi ho. Main bhi Aditi se utna hi pyaar karta hun jitna woh mujhse.
Manyata: Toh fir unhe bata kyu nahi dete?
Raj: Kyunki ek baat hai jo maine tum sabse chupayi hai
Manyata: Kya?
Raj: Yahi ki... Yahi ki main kabhi bhi ek pita nahi ban sakta. I can never become a father. Aur isi wajah se main nahi chahta ki Aditi ko compromise karna pade.
Manyata: Bas itni si baat. Dada aaj kal kitne modernn methods aa gaye hai I'm sure kuch na kuch hoga. Warna aap ek bacha adopt bhi toh kar sakte ho. Aur I'm sure Aditi didi is baat ko samjhegi.
Raj: Woh to samajh jayegi but uske parents samjhenge?
There was somebody who was listening to all this. Somebody who has seen Manyata run after Raj and had followed her. It was Aditi.
Aditi came forward and slapped Raj.
Aditi (crying): Aapne is baat ke liye mujhe kabhi yeh nahi bataya ki aap mujhse pyaar karte hai. Pata hai mujh par kya beeti hai. Itne bure bure khayal aate the.
Raj holds her and puts a finger on her lips.
Raj: Shh... I'm sorry. I'm really sorry. I know what I did was a jerk-ass thing to do par ab tumhe mujhse koi alag nahi kar sakta. Okay?
Aditi nods.
Raj: Aur tumhare ilawa mujhe aur koi thappad bhi nahi maar sakta.
Aditi smiles wiping her tears.
They return to where everyone was having lunch. Manyata took a chair and stood up on it.
Manyata: Excuse me ladies and gentlemen. I want your attention please. Dada and Aditi didi just confessed their feelings for each other.
Everyone looks in surprise in their direction and hug them and congratulate them.
Raj and Aditi blush and then take the blessings of Brij and Giri who were just so happy to shower them with all the love.
Manyata was standing and looking at all this when Uday came from the back and said
Uday: Waah princess maan gaye tumko. Matlab do pyaar karne walo ko milana toh koi tumse seekhe.
Manyata: Matlab?
Uday: Ohho ab itni bhi innocent mat bano. Humein sab pata hai.
Manyata: Tujhe kaise pata.
Uday: Hum tumhari sab khabar rakhte hai.
With this Uday walks away and Manyata looks at him smiling.
NEXT DAY AT THE PRACTICE
Manyata and Uday are practicing dance steps for their performance. While practicing Uday says
Uday: Chalo tumhari dili khwaish puri hogayi na aaj
Manyata: Kya? Meri kaunsi khwaish?
Uday: Arre hamare sath dance karna toh tumhari sabse badi wish thi na. Aaj toh woh bhi puri hogayi.
Manyata (makes a disgusting face): Chal chal rehne de. Ab to in jokes par hasi bhi nahi aati.
Uday: Humne kab kaha yeh joke tha
Manyata: Mujhe sab maloom hai. Tu kya kehna chah raha hai. Tera life mein sirf ek motive hai na. Mujhe pareshan karna.
Uday: Offo princess tum humein kitni achi tareeke se janti ho. Tabhi toh hum kehte hai hamari jodi khoob jamegi.
Manyata: Oo hello yeh baat jodi tak kaise pahuch gayi. Tu is play ko zyada seriously nahi le raha
Uday: Shayad. Par yeh bhi toh ho sakta hai ki yeh play karte karte hum dono ko ek doosre se sach mein pyaar ho jaye.
With this he spins Manyata and then leaves her and walks away. Manyata looks at him thinking about what he just said with a straight look on her face.
Uday walks away not knowing what he's saying has actually started happening.
