it is a very touchy topic. im not sure about any1 else. but this is what i think. if i was given a choice to convert, i will not. i am proud to be who i am. and if god wanted me to be muslim, or hindu, then he would have made me. but it was his decsion to make a sikh and be born into a sikh family. so i would like to stick to that decision. If im in love with a guy who is not sikh and wants me to convert into his religion then my answer would be no. these are just my thoughts. and what i believe in. sorry if i said somthing wrong

Well said!👏 And you didnt say anything wrong😊

I wouldnt want to change my beliefs or convert into another religion. Because it would take a lot time for me to adapt to that particular culture. And since I have been born and raised as a sikh, I know my do's and not do's. Some cultures are very picky about there beliefs and some are not. I personally have nothing against people that convert into another culture, its there personal choice, and even if I said "NO, you cant convert to another religion" its not like the person is going to change there mind because of my beliefs. Its there personal choice. And as for my answer, no I would not convert to another culture because Im happy to be who I am and that is a Sikh😊 .

Personally, As a hindu i would never want to convert myself into islam. Or any other religion!

I never knew ashaka(kumud from kussum) converted herself into islam 🤢 ![/QUOTE]

It was her personal choice. And is being an Islamic a bad thing?

conversions are not always wrong.....if you finds the truth, why shy away frm it just becuz u belong to different religion or culture?

its good that she accepted or accepting Islam. i myself is a born-again muslim and knows that its a 'path to God'.

afterall...Islam is fastest growing religion in USA (20,000 conversion annually) just bcuz they are more open-minded than us.

i strongly disagree with the fact that we shud convert!i mean if u really love a person,u;d give a damn abt her religion and love her/him the way the person is.However i guess it's always safe to love a person from same religion to avoid family conflicts.Yet again,if it's in ur destiny to fall in love with a person who's been brought up in diff valus, culture, religion, then u cant help it can u?

marrying into a family with another religon would result in conflicts at times. and converting depends on how and what the person's beliefs are.
