I'd like to share this story with you that amused me . One afternoon two young men rang my door bell . They were Christians doing some sort of service . I knew their mission was to convert after asking me several questions related to the current religon i followed , and pointing out what was inadequate in my relgon . They spent 40 minutes asking me questions on how our gods( hindus) forgive blah blah .It looked like they were trying to corner me in my religons inadequcy . Although i am no pundit , and haven't read our holy books . But i know enough about my religon and pride in my hinduism to satisfy the boys . They eventaully thanked me for the knowledge , gave me a bible and left . I respectfully kept the bible in my temple. Will read it some day. 😊

Religion may be defined as a set of attitudes, beliefs, and practices pertaining to supernatural power. For different religions, the beliefs, attitudes and practices change.

On the question of conversion, I personally would never convert. I have been born a Hindu not by my choice, but as decided by fate (or whatever one chooses to call it).

However, I also consider the question of converting to be a personal choice and hence if a person wishes to change his or her religion out, that is upto the individual.

Finally, I firmly believe (as said by Parahamamsa Shri Ramakrishna) that each religion is but a different path to the same One God. So if a person who is faithful to any one religion, there is no need to convert at all.

But if some1 wants to convert dan itz juz up to dat Person we cant do anything...... (Itz more abt Fate)

Alhumdulillah am a Muslim, and i dont wanna convert and i will never INSHALLAH..........
But if a PErson converts dan itz up to that person that where he iz satisfied..........

frist of all let me correct 1 misunderstanding...muslims do not beleive jesus or muhammed is god, so i dun no where ur comin 4rm there,.... they beleive that they are gods prophets......

and yeh saying other religons are false is totally wrong....i no how u feel...cuz even i have heard such thing 4rm a hindu gyal in my sisters class,....she says what hindu's beleive is right, and what all u beleive is wrong,...she said that the rest of the pple who beleive in other religons except hinduism are brainwashed...etc,, so what im trying 2 say is...its not only muslims or christians who say stuff like this there are sme hindu's out there who say things like this 2, i beleive no1 should b raciest...otherwise oneday they will face the conseqences, nomatter if there muslims/hindu's or christians....plzz dun tke my words offencive

it aint bad 2 convert as i feel if ppl want 2 they should as i have seen a lot of ppl convert in2 islam n they say they feel this fresh begining in which they feel they can believe in (which i didnt understand much until i got older)

as a muslim ma self i wouldnt want 2 convert but again if i wasnt a muslim i think i would b interested in the religion as the religion is fasinatin. i also like 2 hear bout the stories of other religions such as the festivals n stuff

i agree with what you said. we shouldn't be raciest and criticize other religons. we should be respecting everyone's religons even if they are not our own.
