I personally would not convert into a christian or a muslim. I don't follow my hindu religion deeply, but I'm still happy to be a hindu. There are just too many restrictions in Islam. Christians are too intolerant.

That was just my personal opinion. No offense to anyone.

Its not that the religion is intolerant but the people who practice it are intolerant. i mean every religion has good and bad people. like hinduism there is the ritaul of sati, there is the thing as untouchables and the caste system and some people still practice that stuff while a lot have stopped, so u cant call a relgion opppressive but the people. i live in newyork so i meet people of all different faiths who r extremely accepting of other faiths and i am one of those people so i dont believe that christianity and islam as religions are intolerant. i agree there are restrictions in islam but i dont feel that they r completely binding like the world perceives and i am still researching on stuff that i do feel is binding in hoping to find answers, the religions itself rn't bad until teh people start forcibly enforcing it and taht is oppressive and wrong. i just feel that u should accept ur own reality and if u feel that u were born into the wrong religion or u believe in the truth of a religion than its okay to convert i mean whats the point of saying u believe in a religion if u feel in ur heart that its wrong.

A religion is nothing but a set of ideas created by the society itself. It's upto us how to make a good use of it and extract only the good ideas from the religious scriptures. But many people are not just able to do that, be it in hinduism, christianity, or Islam.

May be this intolerant impression of christians in my mind is not entirely right, but hinduism seems to be the most tolerant religion of all. I'm probably biased when I say this because I do not have much of an extensive knowledge of other religions.

Besides, I said christians were intolerant, not christianity religion in its originality.
