Why bring gov and india into the debate?
Why blame the culture?
Why not just stick to the rapist and his family?

People want to raise questions on anything n everything but don't want someone to reply🤪

Everytime someone tries to show what is wrong with the woman discrimination in India, people bring up race and religion and say- oh that person is racist, that's why they portray India in a bad light. We should look into ourselves first and see what the truth is. The truth is many women do not have the freedom to live their own live without fear...If after all this justice is not given out to these rapists, then there is really no hope...Laws and system need to change..India is one of the few countries that still don't recognize marital rape...many women are raped by the husbands everyday, but that's still perfectly legal. I am sure in many other countries, it is probably difficult to make a rape case, but there are special branches of police devoted to just sex crimes, special lawyers and the system doesn't take this long. Also, defense lawyers can't bring up the victim's sexual past or occupation. How do these lawyers get away with saying thing in court that have no bearing on t he case other than to further humiliate a victim again???🤢

W*F is this marital rape?
Someday you want to sleep with the guy and someday you don't. What should a guy supposed to do?
What if he doesn't want to it and you want it that day?

🤣

The only perspective missing in the video is that it doesn't really show the rapists and their lawyers words and opinions in a condemning light. It gives factual information, interviews but doesn't give out an end message. Guaranteed 98% of the civilized population will get the message and the slightly satirical documentary of these men and their warped mindsets.

But the 2% who actually share this mindset and has this patriarchal view will think that the way they think is right and esteemed 'lawyers' also share their view point.
Instead of creating disgust and indignation at their words and testimonies, people who share these beliefs will have them more firmly affirmed.

So is this documentary really going to be doing any good and changing anyone who might be thinking in a similar vein?
I doubt it.

You need to change the system and the way of thinking of these people. Try education.
