I really see no problems with this topic. - As Viewbie Shreya

Now as Shreya. I'll be honest I loved having a person with my name in the show at the beginning. I even imagined myself in place of her at times. But as soon as they introduced this weird romantic track, I got turned off by the fact that she had my name. What was worse was that I even got a couple of tweets asking if I'm Inspector Shreya right around the time this stuff started airing (I guess I was quite actively tweeting to Sony at that time). Anyways I can understand why FW wanted a romantic track, but for me they just completely ruined it! They ruined her character, they ruined his character, and they ruined many other characters around it, namely Abhijeet sir and Purvi! If they wanted to show a personal track, which I can understand that they would want to, I agree with Vis di. Why not bring in someone from the outside?!! At least that way if they suddenly wanted to end the track we could accept that. Yesterday watching Daya sir and Shreya talk so comfortably with each other as if nothing happened was just too much. I was ready for a strained talk or for no talk between the two, but I wasn't ready for that. I was ready to see Daya sir turn away when Shreya tried to say something, but I wasn't ready to see them talking as if nothing happened. It was a surprise and I had to go back to make sure there wasn't something in their body language that maybe, just maybe, I missed. Of course there wasn't.

FW if you really wanted to just remove the track, then why even start it? Or if you wanted to start it why not bring someone else in who could be removed later? It just makes no sense.

Sorry to say, but that S getting on My Nerves in whole Epi when I was doing My WU Turn.. She is Sticking with Bhai Every place even inside Vehicle, She grabbed Bhai Seat looking really Weird...😵🤢🤢

Thanks for the post, Visrom. I honestly understand what you're feeling.

Honestly speaking, I don't care how they end it. I don't care if they get their famous bout of amnesia and forget about it (would be delighted, in fact). That wretched track, for me, was the worst thing to even happen in the history of CID and I don't ever want to see it in any form again. As long as gets buried in history never to be seen again henceforth, I'll be happy. The amount of torture the entire fandom (including many of those who actually supported the track) had to endure due to that god-awful duo fight is beyond the scope of words. And indeed they disgracefully dragged Abhijeet sir, Purvi and even Freddy sir into it for no reason. I'm in the minority but the possibility of seeing Purvi's character ruined affected me as badly as the duo fight.

I m not a fan of Janvi mam but I respect her. It's the character that's been utterly ruined and the creative team is responsible for it. Even if FW gets a veteran respected actor to play Shreya but still portrays the character in this manner, it will not make things any better. Bottom line is they should not go off biting more than they can chew. If the writers are so inept that they can't even treat their own characters properly, especially veterans who are the pillars of the show, then they should either leave them alone or leave the job to someone who knows them inside out. What they did with this track is practically showing the finger to loyal longstanding fans and it's completely unacceptable.

I personally do not care whether S stays or leaves because I no longer pay attention to anybody except my favourites anyway, but I do not wish to see this track be revived, or even be hinted at, in any form again. I'll breathe easy when it's confirmed we'll never ever see this track again, ended properly or not. And I most certainly do not wish to see her with duo or Purvi in one frame ever again. Sorry if I hurt anyone with my post.

I agree about above facts NOM to Janvi mam.
But I am Very Happy with the fact that the track is so called stoped for now. Uff... the show needs TRPs so hope they show good trio-Famous five scenes and stories instead of such crap. I too would not like to see shreya with Duo or Purvi hereinafter in CID.

Everyone here has given so much thought over the track, the emotions and all but i honestly doubt that CV's ever give so much thought to emotions. ACP sir and Nakul relation is biggest example of this. The track is used either to show that ACP is not stone hearted or to taunt him. I really don't understand how a father son relation, that really went tragic can be used in such a stupid way.

With Daya's love life, they have always did it. Bring the ladies and then left him miserable. I used to like Shreya as a cop, the way she fights and all. Jhanvi was doing nice job untill the track was introduced. And i don't know why but i cringe whenever i see Daya and Shreya in single frame, no matter if they are doing investigation or the stuff shown in re runs. It actually is becoming one of the reasons i don't feel to watch CID regularly these days.

I understand how u feel Vis. I have problem seeing them in one shot even if they are not doing any non sense and doing their job. I am ok with sudden amnesia but not ok with leaving chances of continue. Just get her married and let them act as if nothing happened. I am ok with it. I promised long back that I will not complain on abrupt ending of DS when that says it's done/ done forever. I just want it to be done/done...

Regarding current status, I recall the day I went to watch a English movie on my friends force. I was so scared at each scene thinking what might come up... I have similar scare whenever I see D and S in one scene... if they suddenly start something 🤢

Please let Shreya marry and end this track ... Please...😭

I can't hate shreya because I'll end up hating daya sir too. I was equally annoyed with both their characters in the track. It was character assassination for both of them and so poorly written. I hope they continue ignoring the plot or just forget about it although I think picture ka climax abhi baaki hai.

Anyway, the love saga of Daya and Shreya was a trp puller for the show. FW needed it, they made it and showed . Now they don't need it right now. So it is under the ice hibernating, Again when FW will need trp , they will dig that Love Saga and will recreate it again.

Its a Simple formula.. Money, TRP. F*** emotions. 😆

I wish I could say that...!!!! Just tell me how you are able to erase all that we saw over the last 18 months just like that and think that S didn't cause a rift between duo or S wasn't part of all those rumaal baandho scenes and that chemistry lab thing. I need some counselling to clear my mind! How on earth are you able to forget all that and watch S in CID at all?

I am hating any post 2012 re-run episode or new episodes now because of the permanent damage which D-S track has done to the history of CID.

Can Japan ever think that Hiroshima and Nagasaki never happened? 🤢 Can US forget that 9/11 happened? Can Mumbai forget 26/11?

What am I saying?
