Is SI's talent being utilized in CC: My response - Page 6

Lovely post, and some lovely replies here!

I am not even going into the whole awards aspect of Sanaya's career because frankly she has been the most underrated actor even though the industry constantly sings praises of her.

What my biggest issue with CC regarding Sanaya is that the character lacks the depth, the layers that both Gunjan and Khushi had. CC is similar to Sanaya in real life .. so I don't know how challenging she actually finds it to play CC, because it's very her.. and she's said that a lot of times. showviewer, as you very clearly stated I would like to see more spunk in CC too .. I think she just lacks that "x factor" her previous characters had.

Is the show/character completely different from her previous show? YES. But is it is challenging as the previous ones? I don't know.

I am loving the romance part of the show .. I enjoy that the most, because both the actors are wonderful and there is no doubt that Sanaya is the queen of romance.

Sanaya is one actress who is able to excel in every type of scenes .. romance, emotional, comic etc .. and I personally feel that at this point in the show .. her entire talent isn't being utilized. She is doing a great job, no doubt about it .. but she isn't getting the opportunity the show her entire capabilities because the character doesn't demand it .. as yet.

Ofcourse, ever since the PH made some much needed changes, the show has improved loads .. in all aspects .. and I just hope that the trend keeps going upwards in the coming months .. because if nothing else, Sanaya deserves it for the lack of recognition where awards are concerned.

- To critique a show , one should be watching it regularly , then only one can see , if certain aspects of the show have improved / gone worst etc. also for those who are not watching the show, , it is a 31/2 months old show and for one which has 4 episodes a week , feels newer than the actual time span.

You wish respect for your opinion , then learn to give respect ...its a two way street . Its not going to happen if you constantly come every weekend to mock this forum , and the fans who are active everyday in this forum .

- I understand that a lot of sanaya's fans from her previous show donot like this show , cannot identify with the character etc and infact their were some very well written responses to what they thought were the various issues with the show.

But what exactly is the " issue " with the romantic scenes ...I think they are going well with the show , the rain dance was beautiful , the consumnation scene , pretty mild and tasteful , as per 9 pm timeslot.

- i am not looking for a romantic jodi per se in this show but am all for romance between the newly weds .. Sony is a more risque channel and if they wish to push the boundary here a little bit , I am all for it . What was vulgar abt the belly chain scene , it was sensual and I hope to see more of that , just my opinion.

- I have been a member if india forum for a long time but got kinda active only on the CC forum so sometimes donot understand the permutations and combinations of various fan group but even to me its uncanny how a certain group of ppl only pop up on certain posts and ever since anuj has come on board , ppl are getting extremely concerned abt the romantic quotient of the show.

- lastly for me for what its worth , for the past 2-3 weeks the show is getting its groove ...and I am enjoying it . i havn't missed a single episode since march 25 th and for the past few weeks , do rewind and see some scenes again. its light hearted and funny , gives me my daily dose of indian soap entertainment and ofcourse the gorgeous sanaya irani on my tv for 4 daya a week. Maybe I am not a true fan...

Right now, my main complaint is that most characters are very one-dimensional. And the large loophole of the fake boyfriend reveal.I know the clash will come, and i'm waiting for it. Hopefully it'll be tastefully done. apart from that, I dont find the romance crass. A little bold, yes. But they're newlyweds. Please. At least let one serial show normal stuff. Dadaji was a scripted role, he was there in the promotions, and I think his role will be really important in revealing Uma's true colours. I dont know why he is considered "new". And Sonali is required , cos she's UB's carrot that she'll dangle in front of Manav. After messing up his marriage, of course.

You know the worst part is neither does Sanaya s previous co actor feel insecure or threatened by this nor does Sanaya so why are this group oof people so insecured?

So Sanz shouldn't have done a Saas Bahu show,I understand their point here as it doesn't go well with teenage girls...but ROMANCE is an issue,which wasn't a issue when FK was the lead.Does it mean that the sizzling chemistry of Sanuj is irking people who even don't watch the show?????

Bravo CVs! The romance is making an impact.Keep it coming as it has now become the USP of the show.But let me ask u one thing.Toching belly is filthy and shameful,what about opening dori of the blouse?????I hope its OK with all the true Sanaya Fans and they used to drool over such kinda scenes.So CVs just fulfill their demand and show us a hot sizzling SR again.Anuj and Sanz would nail it!

They are newly weds and poor CC and Manav are busy with Dada ji and Sonali.Send them on a Honeymoon.CVs are u listening?????

I seen those post before they even wanted lip lock with that couple I seen some comments I admit things that if it was a couple I shouldn't been named here it would have been hot 😆 the answer is they're simply jealous that this couple is actually behaving lik a newly wed and not like siblings.

Hey I have to agree with this the camera man focusing on those stuff was too much I fast-forward that part but it was still a nice scene but focusing too much there was going abit too far. I watch CC alone by myself and I did cringed in that Thursday wedding night episode and till today I fast forward and keep away from that part. I did loved the Monday Chain scene romance alot though it was well done. they have gotten much better lately and the romance they're showing nowadays is Beautiful and meanful Arnav is showing how much he loves & cares for CC and would do anything to make her happy.

Even on the first page of this thread someone takes a dig at "a certain someone in hibernation" who you clearly are not a big fan of so why can't you guys move on and stop with the unnecessary sarcasm😲😲

Most importantly Sanaya herself has not moved on. She does not leave any opportunity of saying how much she misses IPK and her previous co-star, how she loved her IPK experience, so why are some of her "fans" hell bent on taking the IPK team she loves away from her to prove a non-existent chemistry and totally artificial off-screen segments where Sanz openly pushes him away unlike in the past where she would initiate contact.

Now before everyone sees my DP and jumps to conclusions let me tell you that I like Sanaya and watch CC every day while contributing to TRP's and the reason many fans are not active on this forum is because if you cannot blindly drool on the new jodi or want to give constructive criticism then one is not welcome here.

First of all pleased to hear that u are a regular CC viewer and not a person who hasn't watch a single epi of CC coz they just can't see it or whatever.
