After watching the serial, all I keep saying is Kisi ko aisi saas na mile. Hitler ki nani. Micheavilli ka female form me reincarnation hain humari Uma Aunty. I laughed when CC was trying to fix her pallu while serving Babuji, and he's like poor girl, let it be . And the look he gave Uma when she didn't bless her immediately. I do think she's on to Uma's dirty secrets. She knows what SasuMa is trying to do, and is going to get herself a firm foothold in the parivar before she shows Uma Aunty the mirror. Although I do believe the sari on fire incident must've shaken up Uma too. Shrewd woman that she is, I'm sure she understands the implications of having a bahu suffer burns so soon after her marriage.
P.S. I'm glad she doesnt have to wear saris anymore. Do you notice how she tilts her head to hold the palla in place. She'd develop a deformity if she had to wear it any longer. Sheesh.

Haven't watched the epi yet, so I WILL NOT WRITE ANYTHING UNTIL I WATCH THE EPI. Since I put my foot in my mouth the last time!!😆

But I really don't like this inequality. DIL's not allowed to eat together, how can the husbands stand that? DIL's doing all the work (like servants!) how can the husbands tolerate that! I'm with Chhan Chhan on this. EVERYBODY should do their fair share!

Also, Manav does not seem to be saying anything in front of family. I don't like that kind of weakness in a man! Come on, MAN UP Manav!!

Beautiful analysis, as usual!

Something is very special about Sanaya's acting. She is so natural. Her discomfort in saree, especially pallu was just perfectly depicted, when it fell as she was going to serve her father in law, then always walking with a tilting head because of that pallu.. Everything looked so real!

I was initially disappointed that Manav left after his trademark belly-romance without offering any to CC.. but then he really recovered his points in the kitchen. Husbands helping wife in the kitchen and that also in a joint family... Manav has truly amazed me!

As usual it is only UB who notices CC-Manav's besharam romance! I really enjoy her irritated and hopeless facial expression!

I love Sanaja.. She is so innocent! She was initially happy when babuji decreed that CC could wear Salwar Suit.. but then she looked at Ranjhana to determine whether she should be happy or not .. and finally seeing ranjhana's annoyed look, copied her.

All in all, it was a good episode!

For all the talk of traditions and customs...The women are given zero respect It's like all that the women are expected to be in that house is a good cook and a mother the next generation of BS men :S. 🥱
