@Capricorn & TM

OK my POV as to why Manav did not help to pick the dishes from the table but helped out in the kitchen...LOL...samjha karo...a typical Male...he presumed she would just keep the dishes in the kitchen and join him in the bedroom..says in about 5 to 10 minutes."Mein tumhara intezaar karunga." now what does that tell you...😉 He was in a bigger hurry to get out of there...than anyone else...

Now he goes into the kitchen, because he she did not turn up...so he follows her...he was getting impatient...now he might have overheard his mothers orders to her...he enters...and begins to help out...realizing she is burdened with more chores...uska poora nasha utar gaya!😉 I hope this helps 😃

hehe this time the team members have changed parties!! 🤣
last time it was married vs unmarried!! hahaha now some of us unmarried ones have crossed over to give a chance to Manav n drool mode n a few who said 'typical man' has crossed over to the side I was earlier on!! 😆

anyway Diana di i think u figured that one out perfectly!!⭐️ he never expected her to wash the dishes, jsut keep them n come. so he could spend celebrating his long awaited suhagrath!!. cz Jigu is the one who does it usually.then as u said when she got late he came in search of her..😆

but actually seeing her doing tiring work he quickly took over and lent a hand... 😳

Set 1 goes to CC. (Since u brought up Wimbledon...lol)😆

Jump of three points for CC.

PDA in front of UB gets 2 cause it not only upsets her but adds to her earlier loss.

And finally the pallu drops and saree goes. Well done Babuji. But why the partiality? What have the other three DiLs done to be confined to sarees for ever?...Hmmm so this change is not really a change YET! Unless its fair for all. Not done Babuji. It's got to be fair for all, but its a start so let's see...

That aside, they finally gave him a voice...!! Good job. And see how UB goes into shaky territory the moment he starts speaking...

And another plus. The brothers were 'genuine' in their appreciation of CC's effort and the food. No fake ness there.👍🏼 Which brings me back to UB, why is she the way she is? Is is insecurity? Not just talking about her behavior and attitude towards CC but with most people...

The big negative, the archaic table manners or lack of the same...no one bothers to pick up the plates... For all the talk of traditions and customs...The women are given zero respect It's like all that the women are expected to be in that house is a good cook and a mother the next generation of BS men :S. 🥱

Edit -

I meant to ask earlier but forgot so here goes. Now don't laugh at me folks. 🤔But I still haven't figured out which one is Ranjana and which one is Sanjana?🤣

I need to figure this out now to avoid future confusion. 😆

ps. Everytime you guys talk of R or S, I'm like wait, which one are they talking about? 🤓...until someone mentions who reacts and who follows 😆

I'd give 10 points to CC every time Umaben sees Manav flirting with her, just for the sheer pleasure it gives me to see UB's fuming disgusted face ... that typical 'wau ghelo' expression! 🤣

Babuji's partiality ... again, the other bahus have never complained about the sarees, they manage them pretty well, so it never strikes him (typical man) that they could be having any problem with wearing them. Plus in a joint family there are always some rules ...
Also if he bent so quickly , the victory would be too quick ... they need to stretch things out 😆

I don't even mind the picking up so much ... much more than that is the custom that the women can't eat with the men and have to stand there and serve them like servants. Once the food is on the table, why can't they all sit together? That's the first thing I want tackled!

LOL ... I think by now you're figured out which is R and which is S 😆 ... saw a few posts with the tips ..

I was reading this and something struck me.

Just like CC is being careful in picking her battles and not doing anything through direct confrontation, Manav is being careful here ... and quite smart. He is already a rebel of sorts, because he brought in his own choice of bride ... now if he supports her in front of everyone, then he will be labelled a complete joru ka ghulam, and his views will be ignored, and taken in that way ... that he will never say anything against Chhanchhan anyway, whether she is right or wrong.

Now he told CC in front of Ranjana that how could she fall in a saree, the other three manage it ... thereby pleasing Ranjana, that see, even Manav appreciates us ... he's saying CC should wear a saree. If he had supported CC there, Ranjana would have said exactly that - why CC only, why not us? We wear sarees and manage.
He has never offered to help the bhabhis before ... if he helps only Chhanchhan, again the same issue ... he's doing it only for Chhanchhan, he never bothered when we did all the work.
He DID notice when RS left CC to pick up all the plates ... but the main battle is not with them.

So he's making sure he reassures Chhanchhan in private and help her as much as he can ... He helped her wear her saree ... Umaben gave her the 'punishment' of cleaning all the plates, so he was there to help for that ... he might have overheard his mom tell CC and as Diana says, he is already keeping an eye on what his mom is up to ... but being careful to ensure that he doesn't turn the others more against Chhanchhan than they already are. Tomorrow if he starts supporting CC openly, no one will be able to say that he is supporting her against upholding the customs of the house ... because he has not. Manav and Chhanchhan have not come out and said this is wrong ... the way they are going is to let things become apparent on their own whether they are right or wrong.

Babuji changed the saree rule for Chhanchhan because he felt it was wrong for her ... not because she said she didn't want to wear a saree. In the same way, true lasting change can only come when everyone realise themselves that change is needed ... not by a a third person or an outsider proclaiming it is so.

UB - THE BURNING INFERNO!

First and foremost I am in love with ALL the Borisagar men...in the order of - I am totally wau ghelo over Manav ...(dont ask me what's wrong ...probably some midlife crisis or whatever)... then comes Babuji, Manek and Manthan and ..ok theek hai ...Mukut as well ...he liked her chai naah!🤗

I will join you in the wau ghelo over Manav ... he is quite adorable ... and I agree with you, have a strong feeling he knows more than what he's letting on ... that look to Chhanchhan was very much a well done, I knew you could do it! look! Winning over his Dad is first priority ... and Chhanchhan just did that completely. On top of which, Babuji even admired Kaumudi for helping Chhanchhan, leaving Umaben with no leg to stand on at all!!! She couldn't even deduct points from CC for foul play !!!

Babuji comes next ... Manthan next, he gets some sympathy points for being stuck with that dumb wife of his 😛

And the women ... apart from Kaumudi the rest don't have a heart! Shame on you! This is not done ...😲

Sanjana doesn't have a brain, she is merely Ranjana's tail ... Umaben has found a worthy cheli in Ranjana

From the start of the episode, we witnessed UB seething with anger over her husband's growing admiration and fondness for his youngest bahu ...

CC's khichdi turns out to be a bigger hit than the one UB had cooked up with CC & the sari yesterday!👏

And Manav's reward for CC was awww ...a pull, a hug and sweet nothings ...and then when he traced his fingers over her bare waist...leaving her completely flustered ☺️

Manav is completely in honeymoon phase ... and itching to go there too 😆

For those of you who think why Manav did not help CC clear the table ...He has never witnessed his father do it, nor his brothers clear their plates ...how is he supposed to behave differently? Long before his SILs became a part of their life... it was his mother who did what CC was doing today ...so for him or his brothers ... it is how it is in the B household ...

If you notice Manav only looks at CC only when his Bhabhis walk away not when his bros get up and leave ...So he is a bit perturbed by his bhabhis behavior ...

See my theory on that above ... inspired by yours on how Manav does see what is happening in the house and is dealing with it in a different way ...

Lessons are learnt from home .It's the mother who has to instill these habits in their sons and daughters.

My doubt seems to be getting stronger ...Manav is fully tuned in about what is happening around him ...his mother not wanting to bless CC, his mother aware of making CC cook the family meal without help, his mother asking CC to do the dishes without help once again!.

I am beginning to agree with you too ... he does know what is going on ... wow, if he does that will be a first ... a supportive husband who also has a brain! I agree with you completely on what you said yesterday ... it's not easy for him to admit even to his wife, that his mom can be so nasty ... and the fact that his wife is also not saying so openly and is taking things in her stride, just makes him love her more ...

Uska dil aur bhar gaya apne patni par ...When Manav looked at CC today in the kitchen, the look was not just filled with a deeper love, but there was respect, admiration and a sense of pride as well for the woman he loved!☺️

And CC sees it too in his eyes ...that he felt for her ...he understood her struggle, he appreciated her efforts ...they were falling deeper in love at that point...

The more UB tries to keep them apart...their love is getting stronger ...

Awww ... you just made me more wau ghelo over CC and Manav right here

And whilst the kitchen flames surrounded CC ..UB's pride and ego turned into a burning inferno ...for she and the Borisagar clan were witness to the love their young lad had for Chhanchhan .. Manav would never let any harm come to his beloved wife. She was his life ...

That scene was really well done ... especially the last bit where CC turns into Manav's arms and holds him tight, and he holds her back equally tightly ... she is his life, his world and he will never let anything happen to her ... and he is her anchor, her biggest strength especially in this new world she has just stepped into ... they are each other's life ... each other's Jaan ...

Now I want Manav to call her Jaan again ... please, cvs!!!

From then onwards UB knew it was going to be harder to throw CC out of their home.

Diya you have wonderfully analyzed the part where Babuji passes a decree over the salwar suit ... so wont touch that bit ...

Only that I noticed Manav was not taken up by UB's fake thanks to Thakurji for saving her DIL ...he looked at his mother and seemed pretty upset ...

And when CC turns to look at him after getting aashirwad yet again from Babuji, he's still looking at his mother very measuringly, before he turns to smile at Chhanchhan ...

I know my post today is a bit mushy mushy...couldn't help it ..I was completely bowled over by CC & Manav and then Babuji as well ...😳

Sanaya was brilliant in every scene ...when her husband is playful with her, when she looks at him with deep love in her eyes ...when she is upset over this silly Male vs Female thing, and then when the fire catches is blown out she clings to Manav ...the fright, the fear ...Sanaya is simply amazing ...and then again when she is seated besides Manav ..the eyes almost brimming with tears ..👏.

You said it all ... she was brilliant ... that first moment of shyness and awareness when Manav tells her to hurry up and come to their room ... her expressions of love, contentment that her husband is with her when she's working ... the so-natural ched-chad between them ... the terror in her face, her eyes, her voice when she sees the fire ... she keeps her head to hold the pallu away from her but she can't do much more because the damn thing is pinned ... her frantic screams to Manav for help ... and the collapse into Manav's arms when it's safely out ... Sanaya was fabulous!!! 👏

Okay just to tickle your funny bones, loved the look that Babuji gave UB whilst blessing CC, it said, "Woman are you by any chance sitting on your hand? What's wrong with you? Bring it up before I drag it up here!" ( I could have gotten bad here ...but this is a public forum so keeping it decent!)😉

And UB hasn't' been taught well at her own maika ...never snoop upon a young newly married couple sharing a few private moments ...so what if he is your son! Gosh woman! 😲

Oh that sight of a fuming Umaben is so wonderful ... balm to the soul! 😆 Every time Umaben's plans of driving CC-Manav apart flop, they come together even more closely ... reminds me of another much loved villain 😆

A very beautiful and emotional episode! Thanks CV ...

And another fabulous post from you! Thanks, Diana! 👏

Hugs

I have, sorted out the confusion for now... 🤣 I won't ask about the brothers so soon! One is Manthan. but the other two are no names😆 as you can see, Im quite hopeless with names. This is a huge family, I cannot keep track of everyone.

UB is such a cunning fox, was it you who called her that? She is always eavesdropping on Mamac-CC private convos...shame on you Auntyji!! So she conveniently comes up with a plan to keep CC engaged in the kitchen. Too bad everything she does tends to backfire and CC gained something huge Thanks to her.

I wonder when she will get her next success? Poor woman deserves something ...

Diya

Firstly ROFL...both of us totally wau ghelo over Manav.

Pefectly explained Manav's thought process...and that is the reason I am loving his character...He is not a Joru Ka Gulam...neither is he obtuse...what I love most about him he is letting CC win her own battles without his direct support and help..for he has immense faith in her strengths...

In private he is there for her...like you pointed...with the sari...and then the dishes...

Also I wouldnt want a man to interfere in these kitchen politics...a woman's got to be smart enough to tackle them...and he knows his darling wife is capable of handling a lot more than these petty battles.

Missing CC now - three days is too long a wait...
