First of all a big thumbs up to CVs for fixing Babuji's characterization...yes he is unaware of UBs manipulative ways just like everyone else but he is assertive, traditional but not stuck with them to the extent that it hinders his family's well- being. Bit disappointed with Manav today. I expected him to atleast pick up his plate or help Chch in doing that with the others. Maybe because for me asking her to wear a saree is not that big a thing but I absolutely abhor this custom of not letting women eat with men and men not picking up their plates after eating. Actually its not all women just DILs as UB and Mansi follow the same rules as the men. I would have liked Manav to be atleast a little more perceptive here...maybe not in front of the family as yet but when they were alone. Something more was required of him there not just romance.

Absolutely with you on not refusing husband's help...whatever habits they get in the first few months stay forever ...be an eager to please wife then and you will face the consequences forever - tell me about it.

Rest of the episode was quite predictable..wish they did not give away so much of the storyline in offscreen segments.

Wonder how UB is going to counter Chch's request to let all the bahus wear suits.

This week was completely in favor of Chanchan. All of UBs plans fell flat. In addition Chch is already on the way to win the heart of most of the family members. I think UB has some plans to disrupt their honeymoon otherwise she would not have agreed.

BTW, did the SR happen or Chch was too exhausted with the fire incident and this time she fell asleep 😛

hehe will start with this one...Sanaya has silky hair..pins do not stay on that hair unless u put million in and make it hurt the head...take it from someone who used to walk to school with a wool band only to return home with it fallen down sometime during the day every single day! 😳 .. and bangs, were banned at school and had to be pinned..would the pins stay? nah baba nah.. they just don't. do u get punished for it? ye cz no1 gets the point that it just doesn't stay on the head more than 2 mins! 😳 (i have extremely bad memories with hair pins so the rant sorry i just get angry when sm1 says to pin hair!!😆)

Sanjana is really funny ... she has no brain of her own at all ... she was first happy that CC got to wear suits, then she saw Ranjana's face and realised, no, I have to be upset ... so she changed her expression 😆 I am feeling more and more sorry for Manthan being stuck with such a dimwit as a wife!

Exactly!!! None of the others have any brains ... or rather, they have all been brought up to be traditional wives and never question the MIL ... Umaben chose them for that very reason 😛 Now here comes CC with a brain and a spine as well ... not only does CC know right from wrong, but she also has the sense to choose her battles wisely and well ... So far Umaben has managed to hide her own agenda, but I get the feeling CC is slowly becoming wise to what Umaben is doing ... maybe not specifically with her, but as in CC is realising how Umaben runs the house with a mixture of lies and deceit, and divide and rule.

I am so glad to see that what we discussed so long ago about babuji being bawled over by CC turning out to be splendidly true!!⭐️ aww am loving it!! yehhh!! he adores his little bahu already!
Yep ... that part is coming true all right ... Babuji is coming slowly into his own! Everytime he praises Chhanchhan, Umaben fumes some more 😆 Again I get the feeling Babuji knows what his wife is like, but as long as the boat is not rocked he goes along with her. When she goes too far, he steps in.

and now my own fav part of the episode...hehe ya finally I am actually in love with Chanman scenes.. see bollywood romance & dream sequence stuff failed to work on me the same magic as it did with most others.. ya i liked it but didn't go overboard..
but the kind of romance they have been showing since he sneaked back home has been making a place in my heart day by day..
yesterday sari draping got me all mushy too..

but today ChanMan scene bawled me over!! it was adorable!! i LOVED LOVED LOVED it!! finally i am out of the shadow of the romance of the previous show.. cz finally i have a different slot to categorize them both.
that was a star crossed love story and this is normal life..finding romance in regular mundane things in life and simply caring for one another is ChanMan for me now..
I am glad the makers managed to create this..

And well finally I am so glad Sanaya picked this show..She actually managed to find a romance that is different to BOTH of her previous shows! And it is no mean feat!!

and i honestly wondered if she will have anything else left..and well being Sanaya Irani she proved that if one wants something hard enough there would also be a way..
So ya she has actually found that 3rd genre of romance!
the simple uncomplicated kind!! And i for one am adoring it and aww just love it!! they have found their niche finally among love stories...

Simple, uncomplicated and very real!!! The one thing a wife looks for in a husband above everything else is trust and respect ... love follows automatically. It was there in SaJan too - that was one reason I loved their love story ... and I love the way it is building here ... the trust and understanding between a husband and wife. Manav is not ideal husband yet ... but he is learning ... and I love the way he looks out for Chhanchhan all the time. He sees that she has lots to adjust to, and is taking time to adjust ... he also sees that she is trying her best and not complaining about any of the rules which are so different from her own house. She gives respect to him, his family and their rules, even if she doesn't believe in them herself ... and that earns her respect from his whole family ... well, everyone barring Umaben and RS, of course 😆

Anuj...thanks... just thank you so so much!! thanks for giving us all a new lease in life with CC..
cannot say how grateful I am cz Sanaya's success with this show meant a lot to me..and finally with a correct able and decent partner to support her she is able to do it..

I really liked Babuji's words ... traditions of the family are not more important than the family members ... that is the key to knowing what traditions to uphold and which ones not to. So hopefully the traditions of the men not clearing their plates from the table and not helping their wives in the kitchen at all ... will soon also be called into question.

Also I think Babuji is more perceptive than he lets on ... when Umaben delayed slightly in giving her aashirwad to Chhanchhan, he sent her quite a glare ... Woman, move it!!! 😆

Again in Manav's defense, he has not seen any different ... so it still doesn't strike him how unbalanced and unfair the system is. He didn't offer to help CC pick up the plates ... but when Umaben gave her the task of clearing the kitchen all alone, he came in to help her. So I agree with Diana ... I am also getting the feeling that Manav is keeping an eye on his mother's doings ... he may not have told CC as much ... but his eyes are open.

If a feel good show means that CC will win most of the battles, I'm okay with it ... but we do need some anxious moments too to balance the score 😆 Can't believe I actually want UB to win a few now 😆

Next poll ... did they or did they not DO IT? 😆
My bet is - NO ... CC was tired and upset after the fire incident ... they went off to sleep with Manav just holding her 😳

If you notice Manav only looks at CC only when his Bhabhis walk away not when his bros get up and leave'.So he is a bit perturbed by his bhabhis behavior'

And UB hasn't' been taught well at her own maika'never snoop upon a young newly married couple sharing a few private moments'.so what if he is your son! Gosh woman! 😲

I still think that he could have atleast picked up his plate or mentioned something about it. He saw Chanchan's reaction when Ranjana told her to do that and even before when she saw everyone just leaving the table. As i said don't expect him to go against the family or anything as yet but wanted an indication atleast in private that he understands its a little unfair even though its a tradition in the house.

And yes i liked that he offered to help in the kitchen...it showed that although its a tradition in the house that men don't help he did not consider it as a male ego issue...so yes brownie points for that.

And i also think nothing happened at night... Channel and PH are going to milk that for sure and they should also since the chemistry has worked.
