Khurram and Noor had a power struggle and Salim watched quietly...Salim did not realise that Noor was an outsider...His family which had no stake in the well being of Mughal sultanat...I feel sorry for Jalal...Such was Noor's mismanagement that income from Khalsa had come to half..but Salim was powerless to do anything...things did not really improve under Khurram either..Akbar charged only 1/3rd of Lagaan while Khurram chaged 1/2...Jagirdari problems too were raising their heads and none of the mughals after Akbar had the political insight to tackle them...Result is obvious to all..
