Yes.

He was from Alwar. He used Rolls Royce Cars to sweep the waste of his city (Alwar, Rajasthan) in order to take revenge from the British authorities who had humiliated him.

The idea was to use that thing for the most menial purpose which was cherished by the British that time ---> "Rolls Royce Car" .

Later, they asked pardon from him. :-P

PS : Alwar Rajputs are offshoots of Kachawaha Clan of Amer. :)

Jodha Akbar: Destiny, marriage and love.

"Meeting you was fate, becoming your friend was a choice, but falling in love with you was beyond my control."

Jalal's desire has finally been fulfilled: "that is to have a wife' among his many wives who will love him, respect him, support him, understand him and be with him irrespective of the circumstances" so that he will not feel lonely as a King. His mother asked him to look among his wives and find one who will love him and be with him always.

Jalal as a King is still facing many challenges, betrayals, and hidden revenge' going on under wraps (he is still feeding some snakes)!. There are still others who are loyal to him and there is his own son who has become a torn in his flesh. However he has someone whom has become his unwavering support.

The family dynamics in Jalal's Kingdom have tested and tried the love he shares with Jodha yet still both are committed to one course, a decision their heart made and both are working at it through rain or shine. The couples that are "destined to be" together are the ones who go through everything that is meant to tear them apart and come out even stronger than they were before. "Love is an unconditional commitment to an imperfect person. To love somebody isn't just a strong feeling. It is a decision, a judgment and a promise."

As their marriage anniversary approaches Jalal says it feels like not long ago though many years have passed and said to Jodha that "you have not changed even after many years." How wonderful it is to have someone who will be true to oneself and unchanging principles, steadfast and committed to you even in good times and bad times. Well like the saying goes marriage does not guarantee you will be together forever. " It takes love, respect, trust, understanding, friendship and faith in your relationship to make it last forever."

There are many more hurdles to cross and Jalal's new desire is to make his son a great King but he is facing opposition. Will he be able to succeed in the face of this unknown enemies' so close to him? Will Jodha always be able to support him even if it means a distance between her and her beloved son?

Dear you have written it so so beautifully..It is like a beautiful soft poem...

Man wanted his elder son Jagat Singh to succeed him.
But Jagat died, so he wanted his grandson(son of Jagat) - Maha Singh to succeed him.

But Man was succeeded by his younger son Bhao Singh, not grandson.

When Bhao died, then the son of Maha Singh(son of Jagat) became ruler. - Jai Singh.
Mughal records call him "Fiercely Brave"..

He was a close friend of Shah Jahan and strongest LOYALIST of Aurangzeb. :-P

He received huge favors from Nur Jahan, Jahanara Begum , etc. for his exceptional victories.
Radhika will get some farmans of Nur Jahan and Jahanara Begum. She will post later. :)

Aurangzeb employed Jai Singh against Shivaji.

We discussed this issue on blog in comments. :)

@Abhay, isn't he same Mirza Raja Jaisingh who won Purandhar fort from Marathas ?

This seige of Purandhar is remembered after Maratha warrior Murarbaji Deshpande who was Killedar of Purandhar and fought bravely against combined army of Diler Khan and Jaisingh.

Shivaji Raje then made a treaty of Purandhar with mughals and agreed to visit Agra to meet Aurangzeb, he was kept in confinement in Agra. His escape from Agra is very famous incident in Maratha history.

A truly profound write-up Nanayaa623. 👏. Loved every line that you have shared.😊 Where were you all these days? Missed reading your thoughts that you put forth simply and sensitively.

Two royal youngsters barely out of their teens meet, one Hindu, one Muslim. A bond that began on hatred later turned into pure, binding, everlasting, selfless love.Their love did not happen overnight.

'True love never ran smooth".

It faced several hurdles, they experienced both joy and sorrow together, their love is not one of physical gratification, alone. It was based on them being attracted to each other due to their qualities. If we recall, Akbar never forced himself upon her. Their love looked beyond their individual imperfections. They allowed each other to grow, and learned from each others' minuses. Their love is pragmatic, hence the devotion towards each other is natural, heartfelt and indestructible. They understood each other without having to express their feelings in words. What a beautiful journey ... !

This is why even after death, Jodha is the only begum, buried closest to Akbar. That alone speaks volumes about the nature of their relationship.
