I don't think anybody was aware of Khushi - Arnav attraction until the Havaan time. At this point, Nani wanted La to have some training to be a good bahu and she felt Khushi was a good choice for that work. Beyond that I doubt she wanted Khushi for Arnav.

She always wanted someone like Khushi - well mannered, respectful, traditional girl for Arnav and that was clear in the episode today. Khushi was not in her mind as a prospect but was definitely a barometer of what she expected in a future Raizada bahu.

Yes my feelings too. She wanted someone like Khushi for Arnav but she didn't exactly want Khushi only. During the Havaan time especially after the kiss on the cheek,that's when Nani wanted Khushi for Arnav and the family especially Nani and Anjali get to know the simmering attraction between these two.

Why do you think that she didn't want Khushi for Arnav? I think she absolutely did. In her eyes not only was Khushi the epitome of a perfect Indian girl, polite, sanskari, respectful of elders, but she was spunky enough to give it back to Arnav as good as she got. I think that first confrontation in RM, when Khushi turned in the resignation letter was the eureka moment for Nani. That is when she decided that Khushi would be perfect for the family and Arnav. Plus,the cherry on the cake was that she was from Lucknow!!! What more could Nani want?

Absolutely... remember that Nani was struggling with Arnav...in that she was not able to get through to him...and she saw this girl giving it back to him ...and he taking it all silently...that sealed it for her...she saw someone other than Anjali getting through to her Chotte...icing on the cake was the Lucknow angle!
