I think that first confrontation in RM, when Khushi turned in the resignation letter was the eureka moment for Nani. That is when she decided that Khushi would be perfect for the family and Arnav. Plus, the cherry on the cake was that she was from Lucknow!!! What more could Nani want?

Okay answering this one thing before I go. Visiji, if she wanted Khushi for Arnav, never did she ask Arnav to reconsider his choice. She was happy with Arnav declaring that he is going to get engaged to Lavanya in Diwali function. For her Lavanya was acceptable once she started respecting elders and she defended Nani and her beliefs to her friends. And Nani was equally happy on hearing Khushi's engagement. So I doubt she did want only Khushi for Arnav. If so, she would have tried to persuade Arnav to think again once on his decision or would at the least felt bad on hearing Khushi engaged. Once both of their engagements were off, and the family saw the teasing and simmering attraction between these two at the havan time, that's when Nani firmly wanted Khushi for Arnav. Before that, I doubt she was this sure. My feelings.

Ok aajka surfing was watching Harry Reid get mad at Dana Bash...bechara buddha is going to just drop dead...it was actually kinda funny!

PR was cute...i have to say Arjun and Purvi might be the cutest TV couple...they just are good together...

QNH is just eh...i dunno its just totally horrible there is too much noise and too much garbage to sort thru...

AMita ka Amit jaane kya tha...Jee le zara has an interesting twist coming which might be fun...lead lady is still pretty annoying...

and i caught a glimpse of Shradha ka bharta...and its just annoying!

overalll im enjoying cleaning the house a tad more than desi tv...oh and HGTV's property brothers are so cute!!! 😳

Finally managed to do a little bit of soap surfing after ages and caught sanjeev kapoor's rasoi players. Great to see that home cooks are getting an avenue to showcase their culinary abilities. However, the show could do with more structure and objectivity. How many dishes or courses will be made is totally random with some making one dish and others 2 or 3. Also, the famed chef is the only judge giving marks on how own whims and fancy?😲 How about having a blind taste test for a neutral audience/jury.
And saw a first epi of jee le zara..not bad for an ocassional watch me thinks. Then again I am biased coz I LOVE that title song! One of Pritam's better ones 😊

Saradaji, notice how Nani said..."Chote ki nazar saaf" ho jaaye. Her various fights with Arnav on the marriage issue had told her that he was not one to obediently listen to her and marry her choice. All she wanted here was to put the right players in the right place at the right time and hope that Chote himself would see the light. The reason she was not sad at Khushi's engagement was because she was never sure then if Khushi felt anything for Arnav. For all she knew, Khushi Arnav rishta was her secret wish...one that she would have been very happy to see come true, but she couldn't force anybody to make it come true.

You are right...it was during Payal-Akash's wedding that she saw the Khushi was into Arnav. And that is when she came out openly in favour of their rishta.

And the surfing didn't quite stop there so I managed to see Ek Ghar Banaoonga which I had initially wanted to watch but never really got around to. Too many negative characters played rather OTT with those done to death grimaces and wicked glances..but but... I kinda liked the character of the male lead. And the guy who plays it brings, for lack of a better word, an earnestness to it which works well given the nature he is shown to have.

Payalia.. not familiar with the cooking show but the concept seems to be close to Chopped on Food Network. It is quite interesting because the contestants range from exec chefs to school chefs and sometime even teenagers working with different basket of ingredients over different courses.

Anybody watching Ek Boondh Ishq.. seems to be getting some interesting reviews.

Payal, I watch EGB in ff/written update mode...gave all of last week a miss because of all the usual evil wins over good things happening...but it has picked up some speed this week. Agree with you on the male lead. .

Let me put it this way...if this show was a country it would be Cuba...Sanjeev Kapoor would be Fidel Castro...😆
