🤗 Aww... Payal, so touched that you came back! Thanksgiving with family as always. This time they're coming to Boston.

Hope work has eased up a bit for you. Whatcha been doing for fun?

Thanksgiving with family sounds fab and with new arrivals joining more noise and cheer😊
The festive period was super fun though sadly work hasn't eased at all. Year-end reviews, 2014 goals everything to be squeezed in the short span of time left. All this makes me wonder if all of us got anything done the rest of the year😲
Behind on my book club commitment of The Lowland though half way done through another one called The Abundance

Sarada, hope you're doing well and enjoying some time off. 🤗 Thanks for the new soap review. One question - was IPK really the best thing since sliced bread? I liked it well enough and Khushi and Arnav blazed with their chemistry but I don't know that IPK was Gone With the Wind and Pride and Prejudice rolled into one! 😉

As for retiring every single name from the IPK lexicon, you're kidding right? 😆

Docji, hope things are fine with you. I was a vivid serial watcher and absolutely loved the old DD sitcoms like Udaan, Nukaad and Dekh bhai Dekh. But when I was in US, I was entirely cut off from Desi TV and even though I used to catch glimpses of shows on my visit to Desh, nope nothing caught my interest save for Remix. As you can see, I was on IF during that time(Remix airing time) and it was truly a different show. And I have given few of the shows a dekho but nope none swept me off as IPK did and yes it was Gone with the wind and P&P mixed and rolled in one for me. And the next few shows that I am watching are indeed confirming that this show was indeed very unique. But at the same time I don't expect every show to be like IPK was so I try to watch the shows with a neutral view point and after a very long time, Tumhari Pakhi is at least looking interesting to me.

As far as IPK Lexicon is concerned, kya karu docji, the moment I hear any of the names Arnav,Khushi,Anjali, Lavanya - dammit I remember the old characters. I just wonder what I will do when one of the leads is named either Arnav or Khushi. I most probably would not watch that show ever.

Masti mein, Sarada. DEAR GOD! Sarada we have to cure you of IPK rog. To love it and recall it fondly is fine, but obsession and not being able to look past it is not good for maansik santulan. 😃

Chaliye, I have a nuska worthy of buaji for you. The KBF seems to have stopped handing out jurmanas, so I'm taking that on. Sarada, for every negative comment you make comparing something to IPK, there's a jurmana for you - you have to rephrase that to reflect the exact opposite! For instance - "I hate IPK-EBP, it's a lousy show" will have to be rephrased to read " I love IPK-EBP, it's a fabulous show" . That may help remind you to look at the sunny side and the cup half-full! 😉

Plus ladki, living in the glory days of IPK land and feeling depressed about everything else, makes for a Debbie Downer. Tabhi toh the chat club has been extra slow - ladki, you been driving the crowd away?😆 Now's the time for you to be extra positive to keep your spirits up while you wait for better things to come your way. We're all here to cheer you up, but you've got to do your bit and bring the sunshine! 🤗🤗🤗

Peeked in to check on DrS's review of the new show. Thanks DrS... seems like an unusually positive review for a first epi - the first of it's kind since IPK ended. I think we're all pretty cautious around here, so we'll wait for more word from you on progress. Do you plan to follow it for a bit?

Payalia, sorry to have missed you! Hope to catch you at some point soon. 🤗

Dipsy, missed you at the mini MoM discussion. Also so many acronyms - my head is spinning! 😆

Heineken, thanks for sharing on SDR. Like Howie, I didn't get the "boys will be boys" take. All of the characters seem a bit confused and impulsive - living in the moment but also struggling to break entirely free of the old school expectations. Sushant's character I suspect was both chagrined and a bit relieved when Parineeti's character jilted him. After all he'd been thinking of running too and barely managed to hold back. It wasn't a great love for the ages - only an instant attraction and some kind of connect in terms of being free spirits.

BBB was was old school romance - every i dotted and t crossed, no doubt that the leads had found their soul mates. This film was a lot more ambiguous, more elliptical. In the end, I wasn't at all sure that Parineeti and Sushant's characters were a sure thing - not necessarily Mr and Ms Right but Mr and Ms Right Now. The only thing they made peace with is that it's ok to be uncertain and live in the moment.

Hi doc... hawa ka jhonka talking... what's up?

Oh Man, Now I need to fear Docji in addition to KBF then. Jurmana and all that, oh god now I am really scared.

Now that I have free time I am trying to do something else rather than watch only IPK and its reruns and have a lamba choda wish list from my kids so hopefully I will be more occupied.

@bold:- Aap ke haath mein sach much kuch jaadu hain, Aap ne likh diya and things are indeed looking positive on work front for me. Got some interview calls and so hopefully a better thing will come up for me. Agar kuch hua toh virtual treat aap ko bilkul free. 😆😆
