In our office we have contributed for a Red Cross drive for money raising for help of Bangladesh Victims and hopefully our small contribution will reach them.
Its heartwarming to see people beyond the boundary contributing to help, taking some time out for it. Thank you and to your team from me. Yup hope it reaches them.

i read about that'really sad'..what is the latest status? life is so cheap back home'it is depressing'when i was doing my residency in india, i came across so many apathetic souls, of course in a different context'.but still'.read in bbcnews that uk's retail chain primark had its work offices in that building to get cheap desi labour'.and the ngos r protesting against all of that now, in the recent context...
Over 400 dead ... Over 350 identified ... Hundreds yet to be found. No more hope of rescuing anybody alive. They are now clearing it off.
Politicians are at their best. "Theory of horizontal shaking" is the in joke in the country in such cruel times. Really don't know why a country has to depend on them ... Any country whatsoever ... Zindagi hai bas jiyo wese bhi kaunsa contribute karte hain.
Labour is as cheap as 4-5 thousand taka per month max and most of the time they get it one or two months late or more in most of the cases ... They are furious, frustration of almost 2 decades &why should they not be ... Even after the known fact it took tragedy of this humungous scale to even address the various issues garment workers have. Lets see where it goes ... For all we know in next 1 month people won't even remember it.
Also since 1998 there had been multiple earthquakes of over 6 Richter Scale ... Somehow I am expecting more of such accidents now if not taken care of. Also wondering why is this issue not being addressed at all, where construction business has its own jalwas.
