Exactly my gripe - my productivity is at an all time low in AD and that too when I have my AD fully jam packed. I just want to be in AD and finish my work asap.

Actually I have no idea why desis sometimes behave so urgh kind of in US. Some of them are good and readily approach you if you need help but some are like -'mujhe kya faraq padtha hain' kind of people. When we were coming back from US, we had our minivan for sale and that desi guy was talking to me as to when he can take the car and the certificate and one cat suddenly jumped near us. I lost my balance and before I could correct my posture, I found that I was falling back and that too on a big cactus tree that was on my neighbor's lawn. This guy had ample time to grab my hand and steady me and he instead of doing anything like that stood like a statue just watching me. I was so angry and when I got up and I asked him - he could have saved me and pulled me right, his answer took the cake, He said - I didn't know what you would feel😕😕😕. I was like - 'duh,what would I feel'?
