Of course, I know the name of The Neverending Story. I'm aware of the fact that it's also a German book like Inkheart. But I didn't know the story. Thank you for telling me the story. smiley1 It seems interesting. I may read the book later.

I think I can handle violence against children in books. But I don't feel comfortable with the idea of children having group sex. That's extremely disturbing for me. That's why I feel very hesitant to read IT even though horror is favourite genre and I liked both IT: Chapter 1 and IT: Chapter 2 (horror movies based on the book, IT). There's a book named Kafka on the Shore. It's about a 15-year-old boy and it revolves around the theme of Oedipus complex. In that book, there're some murder scenes of cats which some people thought disturbing. But that's not a problem for me. The major problem is Haruki Murakami's surreal writing style. I read that there're many scenes in the book where the readers couldn't understand whether the scenes were real or the protagonist's dreams. You may know the name of Haruki Murakami because he's an insanely popular author.

I completed reading Dean Lorey's novel, The Nightmare Academy, some time ago. It's an amazing book! It's totally my type of book. The book is fast-paced. The story is really interesting and unique. There are so many interesting creatures, such as class 3 Netherstalker, class 4 Mimic, class 5 Silvertongue, Barakkas, Verminion and so on. I really enjoyed reading the book! I'll definitely read the second and the third book of this trilogy too! I liked it so much that I gave it 4.5 out of 5 stars on the Google sheet. Satyajit Roy's science fiction book, Shonku Samagra, is also a 4.5-star read for me. I'll not be able to complete it in May, though, because it's a very long book. I'll continue reading it in June.
