Doesn't that website too provide MTL versions? I thought that site can be trusted way more than the usual fan translations (some of them are so bad that they end up calling the FMC as a 'he')

Im just getting started with these novels. Warna i would never waste my time on reading and watching the same thing. Just that I can't hold my excitement for some of themsmiley36

I shared the drive link to a folder that has my May's reading for buddy read. You can add to that or just share the link. And if you are okay with the Norton edition, we can read the text and skip the rest. I have that on me.

Let me know what works for you.

Let's start with Norton Edition. Do you have the same critical edition?

Yup, unfortunately, they don't edit/proofread before posting. They just copy paste whatever results they get.

Even some websites post edited MTL. Knowing basic words in Chinese one can easily pick out the MTL mistakes. That's how I grew bold in MTLing myself. I tried my luck with building a website but it looked so terrible that even I myself wouldn't visit such a site to read good translations. So I stick to Wattpad.

How are the two books (Never Lie and If Tomorrow Comes) you read?

Frankly, I was frustrated with Never Lie though it had its moments.

If tomorrow comes is good - typical Sheldon.

Oh okay, an author suggested me to read Never Lie. He's a good author. He understands storytelling well and his writing style is also good. So, I thought the book, Never Lie might be good.

You may like it. I’d read a lot of Freida when I picked it up and had gotten used to her style, found it predictable.

We have already have a buddy read for Hamlet & Merchant of Venice, Shirsha. Would you be interested in joining us ?

@b: I have highlighted some books here. I would love to buddy read with you for these books:

1) Macbeth - William Shakespeare

3) Twelfth Night - William Shakespeare

4) The Magic Drum and Other Favourite Stories - Sudha Murthy

I haven’t read Stephen King before, only heard of him. Need to read a book or two to know how is it!

On a different note, I love seeing Enid Blyton in your list. She’s a fantastic author and one of my most favourite. I read her books when I was in my 3rd / 4th grade. Malory Towers, St. Claire’s. Five detectives and dog ( Fatty, Pip, Daisy, and the lot ) — ahh great times honestly. smiley27
