Taking on that role in Animal was definitely a desperate move and a significant step down for someone with Bulbul and Qala under her belt. It's a real shame she felt the need to do that for visibility and PR.

It is a shame on the industry that such a talented actress had to resort to such a move to get some visibility. She was so good in Qala. Wonder if she can ever go back to such roles.

She absolutely can if she plays her cards right. Ideally, she should continue doing films like Bulbul and Qala while also taking on some commercial projects. But let's see how it plays out.

Correct, however....we wouldn't be talking about her if she didn't do Animal. It was strategic on her part and I think it worked. Otherwise - she would be out of work.

Its similar to Kangana before Queen, who was doing films like Rascals and Tezz

She very much can. Many good productions are giving her offers and Dharma is also marketing her dates well.

I get what you are saying.......but Bulbul and Kala did not make her an audience favorite.....Animal did.....Tripti is a household name now....Kapil Sharma made a joke which included her name....Kapil will never make a joke using a person....if that person is not a household name......otherwise the joke will not be understood....

It may seem like a desperate move....but it was a smart move.....look at Tripti's line up.....she is beautiful and talented.....but it was no use if she was limited only to a handful of audience....
