Sharmila would have done better in Rocky Rani as Dharam's girlfriend. Shabana was the weakest performer or character in the film.

No one is Salman's "buddy" or even his friend. Everyone knows how he is. They play nice with him publicly because the alternatives are far worse. Underworld connections are still a thing.

If Salman offered her a movie she'd never say yes to it.

A pretty okay episode, it had humour and tbh it went a little deeper into Saif relationships with Amrita and his kids but Karan kind of brushed it a bit because probably he did not want to stir it up.

Interesting that Sharmila mentioned that Saif and Amrita are very similar, hot headed and with a wicked sense of humour. Sometimes too similar people can't work it out and Said was too young and probably felt that he wanted to show his wild oats even in a marriage.

What I did not like was Sharmila mentioning that her husband liked Ibrahim more (and mentioned both kids but did not mention Sara) really feel for her. Also Amrita cut off access of her kids with the Pataudis to punish them because in spite of loving and liking Amrita they still chose to be on Saif side even when Saif screwed up.

I think after the hurt Amrita and Saif worked it out and became cordial with each other for the children but Ibrahim probably has a better relationship with the Pataudis as he is more spoilt. But I think Sara has developed her own equations with all of them especially the Pataudi women.

And Kareena is more chilled out and actually more of a home body than people realise. I also think that the Pautadis like Kareena is more because she really loves him and accepts him with all of his quirks.

Also Sharmila seems to be very self sufficient and independent. She has her own life and is not dependent on her family. She loves them without smothering and only gives positive vibe.

I don't think Sara minded. There's a reason why the family is very careful with Ibrahim and it's similar to Aishwarya with Aaradhya. Sara has her own life and own friends. She's not really a family-family type like Janhvi or Suhana. Ananya is not a family type either but her mom does not let her out so she is stuck with family. Sara is on good terms with her family but she's not super chipku either.

If a 40 plus man with various flings all life and had no great bollywood career to speak off (not top 5 heroes ever always second lead) gets a young 29-30 year old top actress that too from kapoor family which mom in law like sharmila will not be good to her

Kareena married way below herself that too a divorcee whose 10 years elder with 2 teenage kids (one almost 15-16 years than at marraige time)

And no matter what brat and modern looking karishma/kareena/ridhima etc are outside in public they are loyal wives and typical indian agyakari sanskari bahus in hubby home and in front of in laws so why would pataudi family be not happy. Karishma who portayed bold characters in movies was abused by hubby she kept quiet many years. Although they dress modern they all have that agyakari bahu beti thinking by nature.

amrita looks opp she is no nonsense will not take disloyality and abuse etc easily, shes not ater royal titles or saif wealth shes a strong woman i guess so pataudi family hate her (all indian in laws hate such wives or daughters who have a mind of their own and talk truth in public or in front of in laws). Sara seems to be like amrita the head strong who speaks her mind (again indian family do that to kids especially girls will talk truth openly in family)

However modern educated indian family portray in outside world inside they are patriarchal and not inclusive even richest most educated family. Girls daughters or daughter in laws are always second class over sons grand sons at home

why is aishwarya careful with aaradhya? araradhya is only child so over protected by mum and dad may be. Dda himself is a kid still in way parents brought him up so ash is mature one so protects aardahya more as only child.

Lol nope Pataudi family definitely don’t hate Amrita & Amrita comes from a very privileged & illustrious aristocratic family anyway.

Kareena would & does love the titles etc but that isn’t the main reason why she married Saif- It’s completely obvious to anyone if they look at Kareena’s love record that she only goes for men she loves- She wouldn’t have been so serious about a Shahid Kapoor who was decidedly “below” her in most ways for 6 whole years, if she truly Cared about such things.

So while the titles & royal aspect etc must be incredibly alluring, it isn’t why she got together with Saif or why she continues to stay with him- She’s absolutely, irrevocably in love with the man & makes NO bones about it. And no, she most definitely did not “marry beneath herself”LMAO. Saif is actually intelligent, very well-read, great sense of humour, very elegant & is a very good actor- He didn’t need to be a top actor b/c clearly the man knows there is much more to life than work & since he comes with that privilege, he exercised it. They’re very well-suited to each other b/c even Kareena has gone on record to say, how much she’s changed after Saif.

This stuff doesn’t really matter if you’re truly in love, but since you brought it up- Even being a Kapoor, she isn’t a patch on the Pataudi family. No film family is b/c the sort of social privilege a Pataudi family member has, most of the film families do not. Even despite all the financial struggle. And being a divorcee isn’t a death-knell so she most certainly didn’t marry “beneath herself”.

Seen 3-4 acclaimed movies of Shabana.. realised that she is way over rated

I feel karan does not like Kareena or jealous of her.
