I am referring to only ones whose outbursts and affairs are rather public and admitted by their own spouses or kids or themselves in some old interview.

Like Shakti Kapoor also once shamelessly defended his affairs and rude attitude and when asked what did he think of impact of this on his wife, he said what did she have to worry about? He bragged how he gave her money and bungalow and she had material comforts so she had nothing to complain of.

He never denied he had affairs or was crude at home or cheated his wife.

So when we talk of these types there is nothing wrong.

Usually most backward, patriarchal minded people are the ones who cry 'fake feminist, aggressive, one sided story' and keep bashing women, deny realities or bring false equivalence 'like men also suffer, what about man in toxic marriage, where is proof of affair, spoiling image, false case'.

Some also justify affairs and women staying with such husbands saying it is natural for men to stray, and women should not break marriages over such 'small things', otherwise all homes would break. Blaming women for breaking homes even if it was man who slept around or asking women to retain and work on marriage no matter what and never let go of her husband.

Anyway so many hours and not one of these users has given me example of an Indian celeb staying in a toxic marriage with an abusive, philandering, addict type woman.

They are only good for whataboutery and whining.

I am not surprised most of them are fans of abusive male stars.

I agree how Indian shows and films which show misogyny and sexism get less ratings and ones where woman tolerates all shit quietly and is housewife or craving even one look of care from husband or BF, get better ratings. Desis hate being shown the mirror or think it is spoiling women or defaming men or disturbing family system. They had hated and trolled Taapsee and Anubhav for Thappad and trolled Aamir for SMJ episodes on domestic violence, dowry, child abuse and female foeticide claiming it was one sided or crying 'misandry' as if these incidents never happened and men never do anything wrong.
