I am old school if I commit to someone it will be forever, respecting him and being faithful to him, the problem is that it's difficult to find someone from the old school today and I'm really tired of hearing the infidelities of my friends so basically I have already refused to have a partner.., something that my family can't understand.

Being in open marriage sounds gross. At least ots not my cup of tea. Neither can I cheat nor can tolerate my partner cheating me.

Remaining single all life n getting a child through surrogacy or adopting a child is better than in an open marriage.

Yes it's blurred badly.

It was a shock to me when I found out that people have affairs everywhere. I remember when two of my seniors were terminated due to extra marital affair. Their spouses complained to HR.

As an ex hospitality employee I have seen affairs for a lifetime. My colleagues used to sleep with each another and seniors. Married, unmarried, single and committed did not mattered to them. Some has abortions too. I was never part of this o*gy. My life became hell and I left

Guests in a hotel are another level. Some people came with new wife every Friday. Some same sex people who were couples asked for king bed only. Juniors sleeping for promotion with seniors. Families pimping their girls and wives for money and contracts. S*x with young men is offered to senior female executives too. I know some people whose wives are mistress to rich old men. Their husbands have no issues.

Some men have affair with their sister in law's too.

Most cheap guest houses and OYO rooms main customers are affair people.

This is the reason most people refuse to marry.

I understand it’s not our cup of tea etc but I wanted to point this out even then- Being in an open marriage isn’t “cheating” AT ALL. Open marriage = A marriage where there are rules & communication & a desire to step outside the bounds of a bounds of a traditional marriage. Cheating is deceit. An open marriage isn’t at all.

Cheating is totally different to an open marriage.

Ehhhj No. lmaooo. People refuse to marry b/c people are doing away with the hypocrisy that exists in society. Such affairs & behaviour has always always existed. It’s just way more in the open now. Also, if it’s a same-sex couple what’s the issue if they ask for a large bed?! 🤪

I think in India this open marriage concept is still an 'upper middle class and rich class thingy'? People belonging to the middle class still expect loyalty from their spouses. If cheating happens the other spouse doesn't accept it and in most of the cases goes for divorce instead of indulging in sex with another person.

Frankly speaking, I don't understand this open marriage concept. You claim to love your spouse and then go on to sleep with other people. I don't know how emotional bonding and attachment between the spouses would be present if there's no loyalty at all. Don't these people feel weird like sleeping with another man/woman and then returning home and sleeping with their spouse? I can't relate to this concept at all.

NOPE. I know a shocking amount of “middle-class” people in open marriages. 😆😆 People REALLY need to stop thinking such things don’t exist in the so-called middle-class. They absolutely do. It’s just that it’s totally swept under the carpet & most people don’t let on that they’re involved in no -traditional format of marriage.

Also even if someone is in an open marriage, they too expect loyalty from their spouse. 😆 It’s just that their definition of loyalty is totally different from me or you.

The biggest customers of Oyo rooms are middle class people for their affairs.
