Was Deepika a better choice than Aishwarya Rai in Baijaro Mastani?

I would like to say I enjoyed Deepika in SLB's Baijaro Mastani. Her dances and looks were heavenly. Acting is debatable, but Deepika made the role very true to her own personality. I can't imagine Aishwarya Rai in this role, she would have hammed and her personal issues with Salman cost her this coveted movie. I am glad SLB didn't deal with her tantrums. What do you think?

It's a tie. Both got looks, but can't act.

One thing is sure though, Ranveer was awesome. Salman would be unbearable.

Aishwarya sleepwalks through most of her roles. I couldn't identify with her in Jodhaa Akbar, she was ravishing but acting is stiff. Same goes for Deepika, she was stiff in Padmavati to.

Bajirao Mastani was 10 years ago. I also think Deepika is a better choice than Aishwarya though Aish would also have been good.

Aishwarya was unprofessional saying no to SLB and she let her personal life ruin her career. So I am glad she lost the role and Deepika was well-deserving of it.
