I mean the usual suspects loves to pretend that a certain benefactor called Salman never existed According to them, Salman is like totally non-existent and Katrina is some self-made actress who has reached this far without any support 🤪 I mean do you seriously expect me/us to believe that an untalented wooden doll like Katrina who still can't speak Hindi for nuts could have achieved this kind of position in Bollywood without any backing from a powerful person behind her? 🤡😆

She's pretty. She's popular. She's hardworking and surprisingly unfussy for Bollywood. She's funny and is the best female action star in Bollywood. She's no award-winning actor, but she checks all the boxes to make a decent film.

In addition to this, she also doesn't come with extra baggage for filmmakers and producers. No major controversies, doesn't sit on Twitter tweeting all day, doesn't say outrageous things, doesn't have a hyperactive PR; likes to remain discreet, her dirty laundry isn't flashed in the media. She isn't known as a gossip-monger.

It just seems that she is thoroughly professional. It's a lot comforting working with someone who is simply there to do their job and leave after that.

I don't think there's any other A-lister in Bollywood who is as discreet as her.

She gets films because she still has fans. There are so many actresses who hurt their films more than Kat hurts her films. In Fan I think both critics and fans agreed she was one of the best part about the film. She adds glamor and beauty to her roles.

yes exactly!! However, she has her own appeal and that has definitely helped her along the way too. But Salman really helped her career in the beginning, getting films for her and such. He even said so himself!!! Also, she was his long time gf, and Salman is uber popular. Katrina also has an interesting background which is still controversial and talked about today...but for the most part...as of now I find her appeal and schitck boring af now. Only so many item numbers you can do and flowerpot roles you can play.

Salman was in the doldrums himself though when he first met and dated Kat. He didn't make a comeback until much later. Kat worked with YRF and people like Kabir Khan and Ali Abbas Zafar long before Salman himself got movies with them. And Salman always has these girls he tries to push - Daisy Shah, Zareen Khan, Sneha Ullal and even girls like Jacqueline and Walousha. How far have any of them gotten? He couldn't do a thing for his useless brothers either.

Kat became successful because people liked her. I know people want to find excuses but it can't be changed that Indians loved her and a large part of the population still likes her.

But come to think of it....if Salman never supported and promoted a talentless hack like her so vigorously, then Katrina would have gotten typecasted and continued doing 'clean' films like Boom out of sheer desperation. So yup....her career trajectory would have been similar to the likes of Mallika Sherawat, Koena Mitra, Elli Avram or Udita Goswami!

And here's the truth...straight from the horse's mouth! So let's not rewrite history 🤪
