Ayushaman’s Shubh Mangal was a semi hit, which is huge in itself because no lead actor has played an openly gay character that too with gay scenes. Alia is in the bad phase territory yes I agree with you but she hasn’t been declared over, in fact people are looking forward to Gangubhai.

If you're going to offer up so many excuses and technicalities like "this was a semi-hit" "this had good reviews" "this had a difficult subject" "people are looking forward to his/her next movie" then that is the case with every single major actor. In that case, nobody is ever going through a bad phase. 😆

My point is just that everyone goes through ups and downs. Nobody can have a perfect and steady graph. You implied that Ranveer/Ayushman/Alia do have that but that is not the case.

Kat's last clean hit was the same last clean hit of Salman - Tiger 2 in 2017. Considering few movies have come out between 2020-21 it's not that's not that long ago..

Regardless, it's more recent than SRK and Aamir's last clean hits (2014 and 2016) and they lead the recent big recent bombs she was attached to (Zero & Thugs). So not sure why any of that would cost her more films when actors like Arjun, Maholtra, Abraham keep racking up films despite a scarcity of hits in their entire careers.

When do actresses ever take responsibility for flops anyway? They do use the hits though to start complaining about how they deserve more money. 😆 They have nothing to lose when movies flop unless it's a solo heroine movie like Chhappak.

Katrina is liked by the audience because they drool over her looks. She also has a good relationship with everyone in the industry. And most of all, she's happy taking small roles or being a flowerpot so she's easy to hire.

There are male actors like Shahid, John, Arjun, and Abhishek who've had like 3 hits in their entire career and still keep getting roles. So let Katrina get roles too.

Hate her or love her, she is a successful A lister, so she'll continue getting movies...

I agree with Alia going through a bad phase.

Ayushman and Ranveer having one unsuccessful movie in between massive hits does not count as a bad phase.

A bad phase is a string of flops, which Ranveer certainly never had ever.

Not every actor has a low phase, Ranveer certainly didn’t (YET).

Also, Ranbir having one blockbuster doesn’t mean much, even Kangana has that 😆
