Not every actor has a low phase, Ranveer certainly didn’t (YET).
Also, Ranbir having one blockbuster doesn’t mean much, even Kangana has that 😆
Ranbir has 2 blockbusters and 3 super hits
Ranveer has 2 blockbusters and 3 hits
Ayushmaan has 1 blockbuster and 3 super hits
Bolne se pehle socha toh Karo behen.

We were talking about a bad phase, not box office results. But fine if that’s what you want to bring up, then Ranbir ke flops and disasters ka bhi mention kardo 😳

I love Ranbir, more than any actor. But I can’t deny the fact that Ranveer debuted 3 years after Ranbir, did 5 less movies than him, had no bad phase, and has two blockbusters in his kitty.

when he debuted does not matters they are in the same league plus his career is not over he will definitely go through a low phase
plus this topic was about katrina before someone brought in ranbir and then you brought in ranveer
give some attention to kat too
but it was not an outright disaster it was a profitable venture

Not an outright disaster but an under-performer for sure!
And then saying stuff like how Katrina got 'good' reviews is nothing but rewriting history! Historical revisionism at its best
Oh well.....time to refresh some memories 🤡
"Even the romance between Bharat and Kumud (Katrina Kaif, who still pronounces “bilkul” like “bill cool”, and is unconvincing from start to finish) produces no great feeling."
"Khan and Kaif, on the other hand, are off the mark and off colour throughout. Nope, even when Bharat addresses Kumud as "Madam Sir" with the actor's signature cutesiness it falls flat. Kaif's Hindi diction has always been problematic, here it is not even papered over with the by-now-standard her-character-grew-up-outside-India excuse and the way she says the English word "store" more than once in a particular scene is very distracting. Like the duo's performances, Bharat's songs too are lackluster"
"The odd sense of proportion which permeates Bharat extends to nearly everything in it: for instance, the picture opens with Khan, Katrina Kaif and Shashank Arora, all looking like models from a Flipkart commercial of 'kids trying to act like grown-ups'.
We watch in horror as they enact the rituals of old age by borrowing the most used numbers: Khan coughs between sentences; Kaif sighs between metaphors; Arora, while seeming pensive, tries to balance a thick moustache, obviously fake."
"I suspect Khan’s reel-persona might not have needed a sprawling real-life backdrop to save Bharat’s family store. As a result, the writers try to merge tones by modifying real (history) to suit reel (hero) instead of vice versa. The result is ridiculous. Every phase is graced by an excuse to dress up and flaunt bodies. Disha Patani croons about “slow motion” at the circus; Diwali is celebrated at the oil-rig camp so that Katrina Kaif can dance in a sari amidst dunes and bite into jalebis as if they were mangoes in the Aamsutra ad; a wedding is held at Bharat’s residence so that Kaif can repeat this; Bharat saves his Muslim sidekick (Sunil Grover) repeatedly so that he can declare “Bharat ne bacha liya”. Bharat even joins the Navy so that the crew can travel to Malta, shoot an exotic song with Nora Fatehi and conclude a Somali-pirate hijacking with a sermon on racism and the African villain practically parodying Captain Phillips by bonding with Bharat on Amitabh Bachchan dialogues. Perhaps the most surreal part is the film’s take on the “Aman ki Asha” campaign – a hopelessly manipulative mining of Partition tales that might make Manto resurrect himself and scold Gandhi for producing Bharat."
"Katrina Kaif too has many jobs - from employment officer to supervisor in an oil field to news reader (a la Salma Sultan) and Creative Director of a TV channel to hausfrau who is really in a 'live in' relationship with Bharat - and you are happy she is made to dance to some strange not so hummable Hand-pump song. Her dialog delivery remains as strange as ever. Why make her say words like, 'namankan patra' (candidate registration papers for election)?"
