yes you were measuring Twinkle Khanna's hype in 1990s.
A time when there was no internet, Kangu Maharani's great exposing and so on, you believe Rajesh Khanna and Dimple Kapadia's daughter debuting with Dharmendra's youngest son had no hype.
Yes I believe you.

for her..it is all voiced out PER CONVENIENCE

she wants us to believe she supports these causes..lol

she only cares about nepotism..feminism when voicing about them can benefit her..

why was she going gaga over raazi and alia and why is she now calling her a puppet..she was always a puppet..why not voice it earlier..

same with feminism..where was her feminism when she called other girls public property?

she also started speaking about patriotism only when manikarnika was close to release

and no one may want to aim for being a secretary..fact remains..rangoli's only qualification for that is being kangana's sister..and that does fall under nepotism as well..but why would she voice that..that only happens when something comes in her way..using these issues to get at those people..

We have been ignoring it when it was the 90's because most of us here were kids who did not know the difference between entitled insiders and struggling outsiders.

thread ka title hain is it the worst in terms of nepotism, not should we protest or not.

Exactly this! ... BW is getting crowded by too many insiders now .. very little scope for outsiders .. I mean Ayush mentioned how Kjo company doesn't even accept any "outsider" .. that says it all!

if we go and check about most of the stars/directors/crew members from the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s, you will find that majority of them are filmy people are insiders.

India has always been this recommendation country, if nepotism was so bad only during today, why was Akki shading nepotistic people in the 90s in his song.

+ at the begining of the career their father or family friends used to give them work. Now they work for every A grade movie except their father's. PR aur paps pe paisa kharch karke launch ke 2 saal pehle se khudke audience taiyar kar rahe hai... Toh opening achchi ho rahi hai... Outsider debutants ke movies low opening ke wajah se maar kha rahe hai... Before outsiders' debut movies used to open poor but WOM used to make it sleeper hit, now people think janhvi ke movie 10 cr ki opening li hai aur yeh outsider Aira ki movie 1cr FLOP HAI FLOP HAI FLOP HAI. Pehle show ki baad hi khatam ho jaate hai. Thanks to some exhibitors on Twitter.

Someone asked Sonam Nair, a Dharma director, how can an outsider make it to BW... Her answer was something like this... Starting with sidey roles.
Ideally it's not a right answer, but practically dekhe toh outsiders ke liye yahi ek hope hai... Kuch na kuch kar ke ghuss jao... Phir charming ho? Aur sahi jagah maska marne mein mahir ho? toh ek din tum bhi How's The Josh chillaoge. I used Vicky as reference because Vicky started his BW journey like outsiders do. Well, after getting noticed Vicky has gotten the golden key to the insider's club and now will get all the perks of an insider, but for outsiders, getting noticed is not enough for the insiders gang to welcome them with open arms.

When QSQT released in 1988 we did know Aamir was the famous producer/director Nasir Hussain's nephew and the film director was his cousin. We did read film magazines a lot back then and they used to publish those articles introducing these new debutants.
Of course people knew Sallu was the son of Salim of the famous Salim Javed duo, those 2 had a lot of clout from the 70s superhits they penned.
Kumar Gaurav had a LOT of hype when he debuted, there was so much bruhaha over his Love Story debut, teenyboppers were going crazy over him 😆 Then 2-3 more movies, flops and he went out like a light..
Ajay Devgn did not have that much hype but we did know he was Veeru Devgn's son. Veeru was famous action director back then who had choreographed fights for Sholay and other blockbusters.
Its not like in 80s, 90s nobody had any info abt directors, editors, fight masters, and their kids,... film lovers back then read a lot of film magazines like Filmfare, Cine Blitz, Stardust etc

raj wants us to believe that people didn't know Aamir, Sallu and Ajay were not known as industry kids 😆...
It cannot be coincident that all of their first movies were major hits😆.
People used to get super excited when star kids debut.
I mean just look at Refugee, highest opening day of all time during its release, only because it is AB' son

I think audience is as much at fault as the people involved.

It can be objectively answered by counting the number of debutants last couple of years with many insiders and how many outsiders...
