Don't know if it's the most nepotistic, but I think it's easier for nepo kids to be accepted? I think many know the flack they will get so try to come off as so relatable and what not.

Yes, a low personal secretary job is such A big step to take on the big bollywood.

You have a point but the one who is screaming from roof top against nepotism shouldn't indulge in any sort of nepotism whether it is a low level or high level nepotism .

Even outsiders have some clout too. like why is Kirti Sanon's sister verified before her debut film? Shes not a public figure.

you're really complaining about her giving her sister to be her secretary? rather than complaining about mediocre stars getting films after afters even when they fail at the box office? I see where your priorities lie elsewhere.

This reminds me of the South Asian community complaining about how they aren't moving up at engineering firms in US because they are submissive to the white man. All they do is complain when they get home rather than doing something about it.

I m actuality throwing light about her hypocrisy. I m not Saying whatever she said about Karan was wrong but the problem is she herself is practicing same thing which she has problem with.

I wish we had money and ability to take risks and make movies for talented outsiders to give them fair chance
Producers and all would not put money on a outsiders if they have their own kids wanting a break
If I put myself in that position I understood why they do that unless of course my kid is highly untalented but who would say that to me in this film business where everything is about being in good books
Bolna Assan hai but to do it is difficult
Also cannot forget
Srk
Akshay Kumar
Madhuri
Juhi
Priyanka
Lara
Aishwarya
Shridevi
Jaya p
Deepika
Katrina etc are also there
Hopefully
Kriti Yami tapsee Bhumi Sushant Raj Kumar rao Ayushmann make it big and others also give good competition and in end we get good content

I'm sorry, but you're picking the wrong battles.

A personal secretary is a low level position.

You missed the point, if you are going to rant against nepotism, than the very least you can do is not practice it yourself, it makes you a hypocrite.

yes it is bad. the movies are getting better, content is getting better where movies are capable of competing at an international level. but they keep medicore talent and dont expand in finding new talent. you have improvement in one area, but no improvement in another. bollywood is not taken seriously for a reason and it is the cult mentality and treatment as if it is a family business that makes it an inferior industry imo.
its laughable how any star kid is automatically cast in huge films and they are just solely average.
