So the trend started in the 90s ( Yes it's been happening for decades since Raj Kapoor's era) but the flooding of the industry with star kids (nothing wrong with it if they're talented)

yes
It was there previously too, in the 90's but no one spoke about it but now its been noticed and talked about.

Because the criteria for a star kid to get a movie break is just that, being a star kid , nothing else matters

whereas for an outsider, all the criteria matters , looks, acting, auditions and appeal...

Only then will you get a break and yeah compromises and casting couch too in some cases.

only consolation is that

for Nepo kids maybe for some the struggle comes after launch

and for the others , struggle comes before their launch...

Take Sonakshi or Abhsihek for instance, they are still in the news, still getting movies only and only coz they are star kids . If it had been an outsider with their track record, you would have seen them in TV shows by now

Bollywood actually has always been controlled by families, as during old time, film profession was kinda taboo, hence you can see all the old stars have all had a close knit family stuffs.
And those who didn't had, sided with powerful and influential members of either political parties or film producers.

It has always been a majorly family business, hence these old people don't get this thing, because since the start nepotism has been seen as normal.

Same can happen to either of Sara/Jhanvi.
The thing is these things have been happening since eras.
But people just ignore it, because bashing Aloo-Kjo is the ''IT'' thing.

Twinkle never had hype. Never

It's different with girls today. They're all hyped

Even if this has been happening for ages, we are voicing it now because we have grown up and now know what nepotism means and what effect it has on talented outsiders. We have been ignoring it when it was the 90's because most of us here were kids who did not know the difference between entitled insiders and struggling outsiders.

Bollywood is run by friends and families for ever

It's just now kangana is making big noise now , maybe

😆
Arjun said it's ok if our family members help us out in getting into movies, we need some saharaa

But poor guy is flopping even with saharaa

And I am so happy that twinkle flopped

and how about BIG b's beta abhishek

That's why there is silence from big b as well

😆

I think so.. not only actress and actor, some actress / actor are hiring their own sisters/ brothers as a personal secretary who has no qualifications whatsoever to do that job. Not only that they are using them as shoulder to fire the bullets on others .
