Ananya Pandey is debuting in KJo's SOTY 2 ...merely on the basis of being a fair skinned pretty girl, I dont know if shes ever modelled or acted in even a school play

Nobody protested a single time abt Ananya just because shes a pretty face

All the hate for Suhana merely getting a magazine cover because shes dark skinned and "ugly" and looks too much like her dad SRK

The argument here against Nepo kids in BW, its because they are getting movie lead roles based on who their papa or mama is,

Nepo outside BW is a different debate, then we have to bring in everyone on earth who supports their kids or helps their kids in getting a job...its too widespread in Indian society...do u really want to go into that?

Its normal of BW dads to launch their kids spending their own money means its been the norm...but what KJo is doing for Alia doesnt fall in that category, this is something far beyond that, even Mahesh Bhatt did not do so much for his older daughter Pooja, though he did launch her and kept on giving her movies inspite of her weird looks.

@ Bold: Just two paragraphs before you were not approving of those who were commenting on Suhana's looks and see what you yourself have done just two paragraphs later...

I didn't want to drag all the professions into the debate, but I was just trying to make a point that be it the magazine cover or a role in the film- every darn thing comes under the nepotism if it comes to them because of their daddy/mommy!

I agree with everything Aishwarya said so there is not debate there...Debate is when people support one form of nepotism and diss another! 😕

And anybody coming for Aish of all people and her work need to take several seats. She was the first one to break into hollywood, first to be globally known in that time, won miss world and managed to survive several setbacks after the tumultuous breakup with bhai and the bitter aftermath. And the fact that she is still out there strutting on cannes red carpet and still putting out movies while being a working mom is testament to all Aish is and all she has achieved. The fact that she is still here at 44 in industry as sexist and ageist as bollywood in regards to women says it all about her achievements and how she has made her opportunities count for herself.

Aish sounds bitter now a days. First interviews about how she was first choice of SLB movies like Padmavat and all and even HNY. Now this one. Yeah Alia is making good use of the opportunities she is getting unlike Ash who destroys good scripts like Jazba and Sarbjit with her over the top annoying acting. Aish is a director's actress, she was very good in Raincoat, Provoked, Jodha Akbar, Guzarish, ...Because those movies' directors were good, script was good

The SCRIPT and the Director are the real magic workers, if they are good ONLY then can the actors succeed, that is something the stars and their fans shd realize
