In her whole career , Anushka has benefited or gained popularity only cos of her marriage to Virat.

she was so good in sanju

she can act so so well under good direction

i liked her in the trailer itself..

there is a diff between good and required hamming and just OTT bad hamming..precisely what she did in sanju (mangalsutra scene) vs VDW (mummy se shadi karle scene)

it is a collaboration at the end..of a director and actor..and when both are good it results in masterpiece like sanju where almost every actor shines regardless of how big a role..

sonam was a treat here..she has the chops..she just needs to work with better directors

Barring Band Baaja Baarat no film has done much or (anything) for Anushka no matter how big a Flop or Blockbuster her film is, she has one of its kind forgettable screen presence for some reason, I personally like her as an actress, but she just lacks something...

Anushka somehow always manages to get good reviews but never capitalize on it. It's weird. Though in Sanju, her reviews are more along the line of her being adequate.

I am more interested in why Sonam has been omitted by nearly every reviewer. I thought, she has a larger role.

Screen time wise Anushka and Dia have the largest roles of the women. They are okay at best. Nothing to remember.

Sonam has the actual story told in about 5 minutes. It is the more interesting special appearance out of all of them. She was good in her part as the much-in-love girlfriend hoping for more from Sanju. Manisha as Nargis was the best but she is also only there for about 5 minutes max.

Waise, I think Hirani will repeat Anushka in one more film. He seems fond of her. Though, I don't know why Hirani keeps coming up with these weird looks for Anushka. She is glowing like a ghost in the promo videos. 😆

what india-forums users think doesnt determine the career of anushka.

IF is a wrong sample for any bollywood facts and data.

If one has to know the reach of a star one has to see the ground level attraction the star commands.Of course she is behind DP. PC or may be Alia presently.

But her position is not weak.

Whatever people will see ahead how she bags more endorsements, sign more projects and race ahead slowly and steadily even if ignored among other glamour queens

I totally agree with this. I dont know why Indiaforums undermine Anushka Sharma. I can definitely say she and PC are the most hated actress according to this forum.

May be Anushka might not be a great star according to this forum where her fan base might be minimal, but that doesn't speak about the whole fan base in world.

He also asked her to speak in this fake Britsh accent which was plain weird.

He may be fond of Anushka but he likes to change everything about her for his films for some starnge reason. Somehow seems to have an issue with her the way she she is...?? 😕😆
