When the trailer was launched with much fan fare at PVR Juhu , sonam kapoor was sitting at the dias.Most assumed her character to have a important role aloing side Dia Mirza and since anushka didnt appear in the launch as she was shooting people thought it was just a small cameo. Sonam was presumed to be the lead heroine of sanju.

But watching the film most people will feel that not just screen time of anushka is bigger than sonam and dia but her role is better sketched. Anushkas's role has something strong and her presence contributed immensely to the film. She was the lead heroine of this biopic called Sanju.

Even in multiplexes there were hootings for Anushka's jogging scene in shorts.

She was there in the start, , in the middle and in the climax as an important element in the narrative.

Entertaintment media will credit this film also as anushka's good performance and her another 100 crore movie with Raju Hirani.

Anu will benefit the most between sonam and dia

I've been praying for it to be "Finally Anushka's year this year" for the past 7 years. But although I haven't seen the film, most reviews have said Anu was the weak link of the movie.

Another wasted opportunity for our gyal.

Heroines anyways are fillers in Hirani movies.

and fans are loving her ..tweeting her for that role

sonam had nothing to do.

her paid PR made it a point to make it look her movie somehiw too

but failed.

Anushka benefits definitely

what an incredible talent man

he and paresh had the most to do after ranbir

as for anushka..she was there..may be for more time than sonam manisha ..but i believe they had better roles..they had stronger character graph and more to display in terms of acting..sonam's mangalsutra scene and performance >>>> entire anushka's screen time for me..sonam was amazing!!

anushka was the weakest link and her performance wasnt anything to rave.

sonam did justice to that cameo.

Not really ... there was absolutely nothing to her character. The benefit is entirely Ranbir, Vicky, and Paresh Rawal's.

Sonam had the most character development of the special appearances. Manisha had things to do as Nargis, even though they were both there for 5 minutes at the most. Anushka had no role and was there just so a known name could be part of the cast.
