It is...sometimes very nice and thoughtful topics are opened but not many people respond or engage but you see if there's potential war thread it goes till 30 pages, that's how it is, I couldn't handle few years ago and I left, and I can now so it's fine...if it's very toxic for you it's better to take it in small doses but it never changes you see..

The whole success story of this site has been built on fandom rivalry. If it wasn't for fans and them clashing everyday this site would have shut shop long back..

Everyone joins in to discuss. But then it becomes about favouritism and how their favs are superior to the rest and then it all becomes about personal ego clash. Favourites end up becoming just a tool for those arguments.

I think people are misunderstanding my point here. My point is not that its too much for ME to take, and I am very distraught or something. I don't indulge in fights, neither plan to. I plan to stay on the forum and post comments on topics thats interest me, without bashing anyone.

My point is, that it's sad that unhealthy arguments, name calling, rudeness, bashing etc is needed to keep the forum happening and active. That just shows how we've all become as human beings. This is what we feed on.
