Is this a Discussion Forum or a War Zone?

I am quite new to this forum.
I am a lover of good cinema, good acting, good direction and the like.
When I first joined the forum, I thought it was a discussion forum where people would give their opinions on films, acting, and everything related to Bollywood. Not everyone would agree with everyone, but that's how it always is, and everyone would indulge in a healthy debate with one another.

But what I see is a war zone, where groups of fans are constantly fighting and hurling abuses at each other. There is no healthy exchange of ideas. Fans worship their favourites as gods, and think that they can do no wrong. If anyone happens to think otherwise, they will bash them, be sarcastic with them, cast aspersions at them, be rude with them. Its pretty dictatorial. Its like, everyone has to like everything their favourites do, else, khair nahi unki.

Some of the threads are really toxic, and its really sad to see individuals being mean to other individuals for celebrities do don't even know or care about our presence.

P.S.- I know most people will bash here too, and say that forum ko leke itna complaints hai toh chali jao, don't stay yahaan. I just hope some can indulge in a healthy debate.

Once you take the shaders off then everything becomes reasonable and palatable. Stand your ground don't let anyone influence your opinions, don't give in to peer pressure. Its ok to swim against the grain and not fit in.

Bang on post, there is no more healthy debate. If they have no argument will come up with childish responses like burn, your are jealous (as if).
Hypocrisy rules this forum, wont see their own actions but will be the 1st one to point, when something said against their favourite.

These actor and actresses are just normal people, not to be taken seriously.

Lol, 7 years in the forum and nothing will ever change here. I've been termed a fan and hater of pretty much every hero and heroine and have seen indirect remarks passed about jealousy. Though I've seen this most in Ranbir, Ranveer, Deepika and Anushka posts lately. People just can't keep calm for some reason. 😕

It's bollywood forum for god's sake, it's going to be as dramatic as bollywood itself...if all this drama isn't there nobody even bothers to come here..a slow news day is an example of how deserted the forum will be, we have Hollywood forums and Debate forums and we know how active they are...nobody cares if there's no drama, Ofcourse as long as nothing goes personal i dont think it's an issue...what bothers me is the 'holier than thou' attitude or 'neutrals'..fans do it openly they do it sneakily and blame everything on fans.

There is no scope for any change.
If you cannot handle virtual fighting, this place is not for you.

Truly. It's turned extremely toxic. Passive-aggressiveness, un-necessary name-calling, shading members & using other topics to bring them down/make other members turn them
Off, nothing is too low here!! There is a reason why most of the sane, nice & fun members have left! If you still wish to be here, put your head down & just pretend like you don't understand anything. Only way to survive. Good luck!
