seeing your siggy box reminds me that I used to watch Rang Rasiya and surprisingly even though that show also had an angsty tone and revenge saga, the male lead was never abusive as far as I remember.

I haven't watched either Coz yeah! Not a TV watching audience. Not a clue about channel numbers either. Lol.
But anyway, I have seen clips of PPK here and there on internet. I felt people outraged very prematurely. It might be a shitty show but people were disgruntled even by the promos and wanted it banned since then. Quite a Pahlaj Nihlani moment for all of us LOL.
As for IPK, Gul knows no shit about relationships. All she knows is Ek ladka jab manhandle karta hai toh ladki ko pyaar ho jaata hain. QH was the only Gul show I actually watched, about 6 months I think. Very nicely shot and great screenplay but pathetic writing.

Oh I have another show which my mom watches and I ended up catching glimpses of it. It's Tu Suraj mai Sanjh. That Male Lead should be behind the bars for Domestic Abuse and all kinds of regressive BS. It's to feed the janta with the thought ki Mera Pati Mera Devta hai, maare peete kuch bhi karein.

Chandni to end Advay's dark hatred in Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon 3

Advay has saved Chandni from the spiders. He gets bitten by a venomous spider. Advay tries to make Chandni leave. He asks Chandni to leave from his house. Chandni refuses. Advay makes her wear Lac bangles and ignites fire in her bangles. Chandni's hands burn by the igniting bangles. Chandni calls him a heartless man, who can't feel anyone's pain. He wants to trouble Chandni. He finds ways to trouble Chandni. Advay has sworn to get rid of Chandni. Their challenge is going on. Chandni tries to put off the fire.

Chandni is sure to end his hatred by her love. She will be ending his heart's darkness by the love of her light. He says you lose the game, but not courage, my intentions are not weak. She asks do you think everything goes on as you wish. He says even time runs according to me. She tells him that time can belong to him, but a moment just belongs to her. Their tashan and arguments continue. Chandni gets rid of the fire and saves herself. She proves to Advay that she will not lose. Advay faints by the poison effect. Chandni gets a big shock on seeing Advay unconscious.

Chandni takes Advay to the hospital. She gets a shock knowing Advay is surviving just on one kidney. Doctor tells her about Advay's state. Advay gets conscious and leaves from the hospital, going against Chandni. She worriedly follows him to assure he safely reaches home.

Yeah ASR 1.0 was a complete ass. He had nothing against Khushi but the kind of revenge he had for her did not make sense. All because she made him uncomfortable in the beginning. If someone throws a person out of a window they call the police. They do not fall in love however good he is to his family or his past. The chemistry between the leads was good and the rest of the cast was good, but ASR 1.0 was an ass, that is why I wondered what the 2.0 version was doing that was so bad that IPK3 was singled out

Now I hear he is burning her ? 😲 WTH. In a country with bride burning how the hell is it ok ? I saw the first promo, he is deliberately putting her sari on fire then saves her. ASR 1.0 was an anti hero, Shyam was the villain because he clearly wanted Anjali to die. What is the excuse for 2.0 being the hero ? A bad past ? So a bad past excuses setting a girl on fire ? WTH ?? 😡
