What's the difference between IPK3 and Pehredaar...?

I have not watched both shows especially PPK and I really have no clue about serials, but I did sign a petition to end PPK because it had child marriage, there is really no excuse for child marriage being shown on TV.

One of the excuses of Indian TV is throw logic out, so they could have made the girl a guardian, no need for her to be the wife with the typical sindoor gunghat crap. Such a show should not be shown in prime time too. As for comparisons with GOT, it is fantasy and it came in an adult channel with parental controls with a rating. So those were my reasons for signing the petition even without watching the show.

As for IPK3 I watched the infamous pigeon poop episode and a strange one where they were making movie poses. Bad acting, no chemistry, bad sets, costume and so on for me. But don't know why it is different from any serial like even IPK1 with the 'Angry rich young man with a bad past so he can treat everyone like crap' that it is being singled out. I must be missing something big.

ETA: ASR 1.0 dropped Khushi from a window and she fell on some boxes. Given how slim the actress is could have broken bones and paralyzed her. But they fell in love later and all he did was excused because he loved her. 🤔. What is ASR 2.0 doing in IPK3 that is worse ?

Indian TV is regressive i gotta agre. child abuse , encouraging violence on the television, 17 year old girl getting married with 20 year old abusive guy/uncle and burning bangles abba dabba jabba. Who is encouraging this? Let me get this straight by watching every BS played on television you are the one who is encouraging it you may not but you all are responsible for it. Lazy aunties sitting on their home watch every godddamn bs out of boredom infact they open tv just to have glipmse of that bs i mean they are that used it.

you/they dont need to sign any petition because it is as bs as those shows being played on the tv. they do enjoy bs because they are too lazy to get a real job.

@bold- WTH ? And in another thread i was saying that may be ASR in season 1 was not as extreme as ASR of IPK3, I understand revenge in love and all, but how does that justify trying to physically hurt a woman that too when you do not have evidence against her and believe in your brain dead misunderstandings ?

ASR in IPK3 has put Chandni on fire, and she is screaming that Advey my hands are burning and he replies scream as loud as you can 🤢

People need to see that pedophilia is an adult being attracted to a minor. That is what pedophilia is. A child being attracted to an adult is what happens all the time. Boys 12-13 years in age have access to all sort of adult sources and they use it! The show was showing much tame things in comparison. The only thing PPK messed up was the reason behind getting the two married. Any logical, educated and aware 18 year old girl would never marry a 12 year old even if someone saved her life. It is messed up in that sense.

IPK3 and Tu Sooraj Main Saanjh Piyaji are messed up shows and they cause much greater harm than PPK. PPK aired on Sony while the other shows air on the highest rated prime time channel in the country, Star Plus. Their viewership reach is much greater. One thing which I would like to point out, these shows are not created only for the so-called "trp-aunties". Producers know that teens today (esp. girls) love watching romance. So they make these romance heavy shows. The shows like Kyunki Saas and Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki were truly meant for TRP audience and which is why they had little romantic sub-plot. T hese producers know that the majority of internet fandom consists of teenage girls and they cater to it. IPK3 AND Tu Sooraj are so innately regressive in nature that it is saddening. IPK3 romanticizes psychopathic tendencies and justifies it with a " sad past". The impressionable audience of these shows would love to be Chandi to have the "angst" in these relationships. You can see that in comments on articles about IPK3 here on IF. Tu Sooraj glorifies emotional manipulation and mental abuse as romantic. Kanak tries to "reform" Uma because she starts liking him after she sees his POV which appeared exceedingly manipulative to me.

I don't think gul is inherently regressive...it is just that she does not know better way of getting ratings for her shows...without trp pressure she gave tanhaiyan which was normal and not pretentious modern like kuch rang pyaar ke aise bhi.

her hands could not burn because he had put a special lubricant on her hands! She even got shocked and said why my hands not burning and he said this is just a threat! If u don't leave u will actually get burnt!

If I threaten to harm you or kill you and don't actually do it, does that change the fact that I did that intentionally to cause you emotional distress? WTH is wrong with people.
