People find beyhadh very progressive just because a female protagonist is tortuting her husband! That show should go off air too! Furthermore it makes so much fun of mental illnesses! And Maya the killer has only been diagnosed with depression (such a big disservice to peoople who actually suffer from depression)! Even that show should have gone off air! Don't know why there is always an outrage with the guy character yet the woman can be as psycho and disgusting as ever!

IPK is not about child marriage where is PPK was which is highly disgusting.

As far as I know ASR and Chandini doesn't have a huge age difference. IPK3 is more about ASR taking revenge from Chandini because he holds her responsible for his family's death. So no comparison lol.

But yeah I do agree both are regressive shows. 😆

As much as I agree that both the shows are utterly regressive but I guess the main reason as to why the latter one was shut off was coz it gave too much of pedophilic vibes, I mean that's what I could gather from all the drama.

About Ipk3, it's more of a revenge drama romanticising the Revenge thingy. And that's what most Indian drama material is doing today so people don't have much issues with it..

Currently I'm looking forward to Adhura Alvida, the show is a mature love story and will have a great starcast too.

Also I will try to watch Ek deewana tha, Vikram was impressive as Atharva so yes.

PedophiliaPK was promoted with promo showing child putting sindoor/honeymoon talks/stalking, the producer wanted controversy to promote their show and it backfired at them. PPK promo kept coming in every break after every serial, so people who didnt watch such show also knew and so outrage was bigger. Others show never focused on child marriage, or even promoted in ads and people who watched BV never complained. Its all about promotion.
